Mostefa Ben-Boulaïd (5 February 1917 -- 22 March 1956) is an Algerian Berber (Chaoui) revolutionary leader. Algerian war film about the life and struggle of shaheed Mustapha Ben Boulaid, Co-produced by the Ministries of Culture and the Mojahedin and the company Maysan Balkis films, this film, the first advance screening which was attended by the president, recounts, for more than two hours, the life and battle of this great historical figure of the national movement and of the Special Organization (OS) and its role during the Liberation War, especially in the Aures region. The film, whose main role was entrusted to the actor Hacen Kechach, who plays the character of Ben Boulaid shaheed, discusses several aspects of the personality of the martyr, in particular human side and the heroic struggle he waged against the French colonizer. With a budget of 230 million dinars, the feature has attracted more than 600 amateur and professional artists from different parts of the country, while the main political and military roles of the occupying French were given to foreign players . The scenes of the movie were filmed in several cities, including Algiers, Oran and Constantine as well as in Tunisia and France. The writer of the film, Bekhouche Sadek, was based in the script, written documents, works of history and stories of the companions of shaheed, such as Ammar Bellagoun, Benchaïda Ali and Kamal, brother Ben Boulaid, and some members of his family.
