June 15, 2009 Elbert County Colorado Tornado / Multicast "Grrrr" Video
What an amazing start to a chase day. Caught this video about 10 minutes east of Larkspur looking east into Elbert County. Note the video erroneously says July 15, it was June 15! I saw another tornado about 15 minutes later further east around the town of Elbert (with another funnel occluding at the same time). According to other chasers this supercell put down many tornadoes, I saw two! I followed the storm to Colby Kansas. The video footage shown is well over 30 minutes long, so I sped it up to 5x speed. I tried to keep some footage before it started spinning up. Music is from my band, Multicast. Used a tripod and Canon HF-20 Camcorder. Music done with an analogue modular synthesizer (a Korg MS-20 & SQ-10 combo) and Telecaster & Echoplex combo.

How to do a udp(legacy) multicasting stream on vlc player
Steps 1. Open VLC player, Ctrl+S to open to streaming menu. 2. Add a media which is to be streamed. 3. Click stream, and hit on the next button. 4. In the streaming methods select UDP (legacy). 5. In the profile transcoding options, change to Video - DIV3 + MP3 (ASF) and click add. 6. In the address bar type any of the multicasting Ip ranging from 224.0.0.0 to 239.255.255.255. 7. Click next and check the box entitled "Stream all elementary streams". 8. And start streaming. 9. Open VLC player on another PC connected through LAN, Ctrl+N to open network stream. 10. Enter the network URL for UDP , add the multicasting Ip used in the streaming VLC player and the base port of rtp which is 1234. (eg. udp://@224.1.1.1:5004) NOTE: In udp(legacy) multicasting stream, the quality of the video will be shitty as you can see but the quality of the audio will be good I did not add any sound/music to this video because i am too lazy :) video is taken using camstudio

NEC and Sony have teamed up to develop an advanced visual "RGB Multicast" security system, and the two electronic manufacturers exhibited the system at the recent Security Show 2008 exhibition, held at Tokyo Big Sight.The "RGB Multicast" security system comes equipped with a variable bit rate IP camera and encoder developed by Sony. The system's PC outputs RGB signals that are converted into image data for distribution over Ethernet. The system is capable of transmitting image data without any alteration or deterioration to remote display locations, ensuring an accurate and swift transmission of information. NEC intends to use the RBG multicast system in the development of large-scale electronic billboards, and the company is expected to use the system in the development of products for a variety of other fields.

Multiple paths are established using application-layer overlaying. The proposed algorithm is able to converge under different network models, where each model reflects a different set of assumptions about the multicasting capabilities of the network. The algorithm is derived from simultaneous perturbation stochastic approximation and relies only on noisy estimates from measurements. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the additional benefits obtained by incrementally increasing the multicasting capabilities. The main application of mobile ad hoc network is in emergency rescue operations and battlefields. This paper addresses the problem of power awareness routing to increase lifetime of overall network. Since nodes in mobile ad hoc network can move randomly, the topology may change arbitrarily and frequently at unpredictable times. Transmission and reception parameters may also impact the topology. Therefore it is very difficult to find and maintain an optimal power aware route. In this work a scheme has been proposed to maximize the network lifetime and minimizes the power consumption during the source to destination route establishment. IPERF for Windows - Multicast bandwidth test with QoS between three computers
Three computers are connected to Netgear GS608 Gigabit switch. Two terminal sessions on the right on Windows XP and Windows7 run IPERF as receivers, leftmost is Windows 7 Sony Vaio laptop which runs IPERF as sender. Task Manager of each computer shows around 625Mbit/sec of traffic, proving that it's really multicast not unicast. He can get 6 Afghanistan scepters, and his ult will happen 20 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 = 80% of the time!!! Obviously this is really really imba. Especially since each time it works he will cast 4 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 10 times!!! Let's do the math for a second. If fireblast gets teh ultimate to work, it will do 275 * 10 = 2750 DAMAGE!??!?!?!? WOW THAT IS IMBA THAT IS MORE DAMAGE THAN LAGUNA BLADE WITH REFRESHER!? Also, BLOODLUST WITH ULTIMATE? Let's do the math. It gives 50% attack speed and 15% movespeed. If ultimate works, it gives 500% attack speed at 150% movspeed???? WOW THAT IS MORE THAN RAPAGE (Troll ultimate)!
