I made some musubi this weekend (my weekend anyway) and this is how I do it. I like it in all shapes and sizes. I'm going to be making stuff like this (fingerfoods) for my future bentos and with many different vegetables and meats. To cook the spam 1. slice it into about 1 cm pieces lengthwise (see video for what I mean) 2. mix 2 tbs soy sauce,2 tbs teriyaki sauce, 1 tbs oyster sauce, and 1-2 tbs of brown sugar or regular sugar in a bowl. 3. coat the spam in that mixture or marinate for 30 min 4. Fry the spam. Or you could youtube musubi and see how someone else fry's the spam. Tried a 3 minute spam musubi speed eating contest. Well...found out I don't have much "speed." Oh well, I knew I am slow and at least I almost got a lunch (albeit a late lunch) worth of free food. Overall it was fun. Wish I had more footage of the winners but they were on the opposite end of the table.
