This video will hopefully show you tactics that will improve your gameplay with shotguns. These are mostly tactics for use of the shotguns before you achieve the Range and Damage proficiencies that help boost the overall capability of the gun, however these tips still work with the Range and Damage, there just might be more aggressive ways of playing. Here are the tips in the video: 1. Stick to an area where there are limited lines of sight, you're at a disadvantage in long range situations. 2. Hip fire while using steady aim to maximize killing distance of your target. Aiming down sight with a shotgun while using steady aim will create a larger shot spread as opposed to hip firing. 3. When encountering an enemy in extremely close combat, aim down your sight to make the shot pattern large. This will increase the probability of hitting the target, and not as much of the shot will have to hit them for a kill since you are so close. 4. Keep a longer ranged side arm for those inevitable long range gunfights. Just try not to resort on them as your primary... 5. After receiving a hit marker from a medium range shot, follow the next shot up while aiming down sight. This is because most people move after getting hit the first time, so increasing the spread will help guarantee a hit on the next shot.
