Adelaide 7's day 2 David vs Goliath match between Kenya and South Africa. South Africa of course one of the worlds elite powerhouse in the fifteens with their Sevens team a very powerful and formidable outfit. South Africa boast several players with super 14 experiance such as Howard Noble, Ryno Benjamin and key players Renfred Dazel and Mzwandile Stick. Kenya, not even considered on the fifteens map, have built a sevens team who in recent times, on their day, can beat anybody. Key players for the Kenyans captain Humphrey Kayange, speedster Allan Onyango, playmaker Innocent Simiyu and of coarse Collins Injera, one of the elite players on the sevens curcuit. South Africa started strong scoring the first 2 trys, but Kenya fought back in the final game of the day and one of the thrilling matches the tournament. Lots of back and forth action with good interaction and chanting between The Kenyan and South African contingents aswell as the neutral fans (mostly behind Kenya). In the end the Kenyans upset the more fancied South Africa with a try coming after a South African player was sin binned in the crucial stages of the match and holding on to their one point lead. Party time ensues post match as celebrations for everyones favourite underdog team, Kenya. Great way to end the day, everyone leaving happy.
