Hey guys, welcome back to ClevverMusic, I'm you host Bridget Daly. Finally we have some positive Christina Aguilera news to report. The pop diva has been in the news lately because of her public divorce and more recently her drunken arrest. But she's getting the chance to turn over a new leaf. NBC has announced they've hired Xtina to be the musician coach on their upcoming show "The Voice." Just this week, Cee Lo and Adam Levine were brought on as judges on the singing competition, which will premiere April 26. Christina says she's excited to be a part of the project, saying, "To be given the opportunity to help shape new artists' careers and mentor them to see their dreams come to fruition is a task I welcome with open arms." EP of the show Mark Burnett says Aguilera was his first choice for the show right off the bat, calling her the epitome of what the show is going to be about. VP of alternate programming calls Christina a "once in a generation" type of talent, and believes she'll be an inspiration to the talent she coaches on the show because she started in the industry so young. From an original color videotape master, see what only the well-to-do folk who could afford a color television in 1960 saw in "Living Color" on NBC Television at 10 pm on January 11, 1960. It's "The Steve Allen Plymouth Show", sponsored by Plymouth, a division of Chrysler Corporation. This episode features Steve Allen with Tony Bennett, Caroline Richter, Monica Zetterlund, Jayne Meadows, Louis Nye, Gabe Dell, Bill Dana, Les Brown and his Band of Reknown, This part features Steve and Tony Bennett singing "Wait for Me", accompanied by Les Brown's Big Band. Then, a taped commercial for a 1960 Plymouth Fury Convertible (supposedly Steve's own car). Then, comedian Caroline Richter, followed by 'singing sensation' Monica Zetterlund. This part ends with a filmed 1960 Plymouth Valiant commercial with a Cool West Coast jazz score. PLEASE NOTE: there are a few audio dropouts (from the master).

This video collage that I made is from the short-lived game show, "The Wizard Of Odds" that aired on NBC from July 16, 1973 to June 28, 1974. The host was Alex Trebek The theme song is called "The Wizard Of Odds" by Alan Thicke. Other then the first picture of Alex Trebek, there are no other pictures of this game show in existance. It is possible that all of the episodes, but one, were destroyed. The show from May 20, 1974 with special guest Don DeFore exists in UCLA Film & Television Archive.
