The graphical effects like the fog/cloud were deactivated, because they're glitchy on "no$gba"!! Everyhting was recorded with the no$gba emu!! The complete game is based on Super Mario Bros. 3 (Nintendo, 1988/89) All levels were replaced by New Super Mario Bros. elements!! (DS) It has also some levels from different games, like other Mario games or even from Super Metroid (SNES, 1994)! Dolphin-x64-r4628, E8400 @ 3.8ghz, 4GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 260 216 Core. Settings were at 1080p 4AA 16AF DX9 mode. Ran at constant 60FPS with perfect audio too with no graphical errors. Due to recording with Fraps it recorded at 30FPS and caused audio problems which do not happen otherwise.

Damn, does it feel good to go back to Mario's roots. Don't get me wrong - Super Mario 64 was an important and integral step for Nintendo's plumber hero to take, what with the company essentially being the trailblazer in the world of 3D platforming. But in moving forward, rising expectations pretty much dictated that Nintendo shouldn't look back, so the classic sidescrolling formula was simply relegated to "classic" status, only returning in retro repeats of existing games on current systems and, occasionally, as spin-off franchises for other Nintendo characters. An official Super Mario game would have to be something special for it to exist on a current Nintendo system, which is why the release of New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo DS is so significant: it absolutely is something special. This game marks a brilliant return to Mario's side-scrolling environments, with a look, feel, and play that feels unbelievably classic, with new elements that do a fantastic job advancing the design. The timeline's a little scattered, but while Super Mario Sunshine was the latest game in the Super Mario series on paper, New Super Mario Bros. marks the first time in 15 years that Nintendo's created a classically-designed Super Mario game - Super Mario World ended the plumber's starring role in the 2D platformer series. Yoshi may have picked up the gauntlet in a labeled sequel a couple years later, but outside of a few nods here and there in spinoffs like Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi <b>...</b>

New Super Mario Bros. Wii: World 8 - Castle & Final Boss!
Here is a video of the final castle and battles. On my first time through I died at the 2nd part, so I just pasted in my victory clip at the end of the first playthrough to keep the video time down and show what everyone wants to see. So if you notice Mario teleport randomly right after the first battle, that's why. Also that I'm suddenly Fire Mario when I enter the first battle. xD It's for time management. Remember when Miyamoto said that the final battle would be a nostalgic play on a previous battle? I'm sure he means the original SMB. But there is also that cameo with Kamek that gave me a nostalgic moment of the final battle in Yoshi's Island. This whole game is nostalgic though! I also have the credits recorded, I'll upload it shortly. Enjoy!
