Shinji Ikari Raising Project - Stage One. (pt1) This is a spinoff manga by gainax based on the series Neon Genesis Evangelion. It takes place in an alternate world in the evangelion story. Basically, it's NGE twisted to become a middle-school romance/drama manga. The Characters have changed their origins, but it still takes place in Tokyo-3 and later in the series the eva and NERVE/SEELE come into the story. It is still an ongoing series in japan. I put together this slideshow/movie of chapter 1 to see if anyone was interested. It's kind of cliche, but I can't stop reading. I mean, you actually see Rei smile... Thanks to AT Translations for scanlating this series. ps the music is straight from the NGE anime, but it's kind of corny so you might want to mute it.
