Stevie Wonder - 1976 Listening Party - Songs In The Key Of Life
In celebration of the 35th Anniversary of the album "Songs In The Key Of Life" is a promotional documentary that chronicled the lavish press party Stevie Wonder hosted @ Long View Farms Studios in '76. Stevie flew over 200 reporters and journalists from LA and New York to the famed studio resort near Worcester, Massachusetts for a first listen of the album played straight through the reels of the master tapes. FYI The album was actually recorded at the Record Plant in Los Angeles and The Hit Factory in New York City. Long View Farms Studio was chosen for it's accommodation, serenity and its top notch service. Music track has been re-laid from the original vinyl album. Stevie Wonder's masterpiece album which was revered as a milestone in music by many. Songs in the Key of Life is an album by American musician Stevie Wonder, released on Motown on September 28, 1976 (see 1976 in music). It was the last of five consecutive albums widely hailed as his "classic period",[citation needed] along with Music of My Mind, Talking Book, Innervisions and Fulfillingness' First Finale. A highly ambitious and experimental double LP, Songs in the Key of Life became the best-selling and among the most critically acclaimed albums of his career. In 2003, the album was ranked number 56 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
