MonoChuck - Wii Nunchuk Controlled Monotron

Die by the Sword - Wiimote & Nunchuk
Die by the Sword + Wiimote + Nunchuk + GlovePIE + PPJoy = Awesome It's Wii-ish VSIM. No sensor bar is used in this so I have to twist/tilt the wiimote to swing the sword, but it's not bad. Generally I can swing the sword well enough. And the script has the wiimote vibrate when it gets enough acceleration. It's not bad, too. The script is here. blog.livedoor.jp New version(psued analog turning with Nunchuk) is here: blog.livedoor.jp [About the setting of PPJoy] Select "Modify the mapping for this controller" in the first of the PPJoy's mapping wizard. You need to set 2 axes. Then map X axis as Axis1 and Y axis as Axis2 in "Define the number and type of axes...". Then set Analog0 as X Axis and Analog1 as Y Axis in "Configure mapping for axes". Other PPJoy settings are not needed for this script. Also if you use WinXP you must set PPJoy Virtual Joystick as the default device used in an old application, in control panel of the joystick. About the Nunchuk thing, it just performs a custom movement which I have set for the shield/off-arm so you need to make the similar custom movements and set them for your custom movements. [How to make the shield movement] I will explain how to make a keep-the-shield-up movement that allows player to swing the sword independently of the custom movement playing. Firstly, make only the Offarm/shield record then record it to hit keypad 8 to move the shield up. Secondly, make Body record(red triangle), Arm stop(square) and Offarm play(yellow <b>...</b>
Sonic Unleashed - Wii - Tutorials (Nunchuk Scheme)
In the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed, there are three different control schemes you can use: The Wii Remote with the Nunchuk attached, the Classic Controller, and the Gamecube controller. I decided to put this up because I already know the Nunchuk will be by far the least popular scheme because of how imprecise it is. Just as how perhaps at least three quarters of Brawl players use the Gamecube controller, I get the feeling the Nunchuk has already been pushed to a tiny minority. At the tutorials at the beginning of the game, Chip gives different directions on what to do depending on your control scheme. Since so few people would have begun with the Nunchuk, these voice clips will probably never be heard by a lot of people. Not that a lot of people want to hear Chip even more than they have in the story. The tutorials are mostly unnecessary and some are just stupidly obvious. Doesn't anyone read the manual anymore?

Arduino - Wii Nunchuk LEDs and Processing Cube
I am using the Arduino to peel the data off of a Wii Nunchuk to light up some LEDs that are controlled with the Joystick as well as a Processing program controlled with the Nunchuk accelerometers. This was acually pretty easy to do. The way people explain doing the mortar slide with the gc controler sounds complicated. Holding z while you dash atack then press down c while jumping or somthing like that either way my way is simple. hope this help somone.

I was about to buy an accelerometer to play with. But I realised I already had one at home: Why not use the accelerometer in the Nunchuck? So I googled and found a really good how to here (with source code that can be modified to two servos): todbot.com , it was possible! Have a look att this PDF from that site: todbot.com I didn't want to destroy my nunchuck so I made a basic "adapter" out of cardboard and aluminium foil. Well, it's ugly but it works. Someday I'll buy another nunchuck just to get the accelerometer.. Well.
