Occupy LSX Brings Back The Magna Carta in the Supreme Court

Tammy Samede, George Barda, Daniel Ashman, Paul Randall Joliffe from Occupy LSX, (Occupy London Stock Exchange) and Steve Moore from Anonymous UK all submitted separate applications to appeal the ruling Justice Lindblom served in the High Court in January 2012. The most exciting element delivered on Feb 13 was that the Magna Carta Section 29 is still statute law. This was confirmed by the Master of the Rolls in the Supreme Court, London. Its significance is the clause stipulating the right to remedy. This means that protesters have a right under statute to have their grievances remedied in negotiation with the authorities. Stay tuned! Get involved.

Occupy London harbours political ambition

It has been months since the global Occupy movement began in New York and spread across the world. In London, protesters are still camped out near St Paul's Cathedral in the hub of the city. Their tented compound has begun to look like a permanent fixture, even though its size has not grown. The movement needs to gather more traction, and get more people involved. Some of the organisers have even discussed turning it into a political party. For now, the movement's tactics remain the same, but with these new ambitions, Occupy London could soon be evolving into something else. Al Jazeera's Laurence Lee reports from London.

OCCUPY LONDON - Evicted By POLICE State Storm Troopers

OCCUPY LONDON - Evicted By POLICE State Storm-Troopers The Occupy London camp outside St Paul's Cathedral was destroyed early Tuesday. Hundreds of officers converged on the camp just before midnight local time and began to dismantle what had been home to around 70 activists. Bailiffs in high-visibility jackets dragged tents and their contents to garbage trucks and dumpsters where they were crushed. Police in riot gear formed cordons to keep protesters and their supporters out of the camp. Activists say the police were met with peaceful resistance. However, media reports say around 20 protesters have been detained. Several dozen protesters have been camped on the steps of St Paul's Cathedral since October last year. It was one of the longest-surviving encampments inspired by the New York "Occupy Wall Street" movement against corporate greed. Last week a court rejected an appeal by protesters against the eviction order. The court ruled that the right to protest did not justify a semi-permanent camp on a public pathway. Local authorities also claim the camp harmed nearby businesses, caused waste and hygiene problems, and attracted crime and disorder. tags: occupy london, police, bailifs, police state, brutality, eviction, tents, arrest, arrests, cops, storm troopers, occupy, ows, occupy world, state, britain, uk, freedom, humanity, high court, protest, protestors, st pauls, cathedral, nwo, new world order, movement, city, illuminati, anonymous, the unseen forces, we are change,

'Occupy London' dismisses decamp order-The Real Deal-01-22-2012

www.presstv.ir Occupy London protests has received its decamping orders in court but there are still no sign of them quitting. The campaigners pitched their tents in the shadow of St Paul's cathedral and they are fighting all the way to stay. Within a few days of the main camps' setting up, the grandly named Tent City University a few meters from a busy road will be offering lectures, not just to activists but to anyone who happen to be passing by. Since then a host of leading university academics have offered talks on subjects as varied as international banking philosophy, theology and the Arab Revolution. "I had a bit of a windfall during the week and it came from the Rupert Murdoch's newsgroup newspapers whose employees on the now defund news of the world hacked my telephone," says George Galloway. "I was one of 37 public figures the phone hacking victims of private investigators working for the newspaper," he adds. There are at least 800 other confirmed victims of the newspaper's illegal hacking. The obvious conclusion is that the most dominant newspaper company that Britain has ever known was dangerously and illegally out of control, deceiving regulators, the police, the public and parliament. Ofcom on the other think the people responsible for all that are fit and proper people to run a television station on the Sky platform.

Occupy London Stock Exchange - Photography By Milan - Day one 15.10.2011

www.photographybymilan.co.uk Occupy London is an ongoing peaceful protest[4] and demonstration against economic inequality, the lack of affordability of housing in the United Kingdom, social injustice, corporate greed and the influence of companies and lobbyists on government taking place in London, United Kingdom, which started on 15 October 2011. The protests began in solidarity with the Occupy Wall Street protests in New York, United States. In October protesters established two encampments in central London one outside St Paul's Cathedral in the City of London and the other in Finsbury Square just to the north of the City.[1] In November a third major site was opened in a disused office complex owned by UBS. Named by protesters as the Bank of Ideas, the site is located in Hackney.A fourth site was established in late December, at the unused premises of Old Street Magistrates Court in east London. The Occupy London protests are backed by the tax avoidance protest group UK Uncut.
