If you've been looking to buy one of these, I highly recommend it. Not much of a difference between Opteka and Century Optics, except the 200 dollar price tag difference. The lens fits most camcorders, big or small, and for those that are smaller, it comes with a few adapter rings that screw on easily. They're a hundred bucks, at Opteka and Amazon, you can probably get the shipping free with the latter, takes about a week to get there.

-READ DESCRIPTION FOR LINKS AND ANSWERED QUESTIONS- First time I put any effort into making a review or comparison video for my new Opteka. The Opteka is really awesome, I love it. Here are some answers to common question for this lens: The Opteka is just as good as the Century Optics, dont pay up to 2 to 3 times more on the Century Optics when you can get similar effect and vig on the Opteka. I took off the sunshade, taking of the sunshade is optional, but there's a screwdriver in the box for taking it off. Once you take it off you can put it back on, I do it all the time. I do use spacers. In the video I used 2 spacers, and in the final picture I used 3 spacers, that's why I got more vig. Spacers really help if you want more vig, but if you only want the distortion without vig, one or no spacers do the job. Spacers are dirt cheap too, anywhere from 2 to 7 bucks.
