Here is an early look at the latest version of Mac OS X (10.7) Lion. I know I have posted and deleted multiple videos of this, but the sound kept messing up. This OS is not out yet, this is just the gold master version. When this is released on the App Store, it will have everything on there, that I demonstrated in this video. Today i show you how to edit host files using terminal allowing you to downgrade your idevice through itunes without being locked out on OSX Lion. Directions: Open Terminal in Spotlight Enter code: sudo nano /etc/hosts It'll prompt for your admin password, then it'll let you edit the file. Okay, so I recently put up a video showing OS X Lion running on a Sony Vaio laptop in form of a hackintosh. This video is a kind of branch off into installing Lion OS X on a Virtual Machine in VMware. It's pretty simple, you just download the torrent link which contains all the files you're going to need, and follow the video's instructions. Download OS X Lion Pre Installed and unrar it using WinRAR 2. In OS X Lion VMware Pre Installed folder open VMware Workstation v7.1.3.324285 folder Install VMware workstation 7 (keys are included inside the folder in text file) 3. Put the OS X Lion VMware folder (its 9 GB) in any place u want where you have the most space 4. Open VMware Workstation 5. Choose from menu the option: Open ExistingVM 6. Click and open OS X Lion.vmx now VMware will add the it as virtual OS 7. Click Power on this virtual machine and start OS X Lion 8.
