Hunk and Allura are trapped on the bridge, leaving the others with no way to form Voltron.

Watch the amazing "Gallopin' Gertie" November 7, 1940 film clip. 1940 Tacoma Narrows Bridge Slender, elegant and graceful, the Tacoma Narrows Bridge stretched like a steel ribbon across Puget Sound in 1940. The third longest suspension span in the world opened on July 1st. Only four months later, the great span's short life ended in disaster. "Galloping Gertie," collapsed in a windstorm on November 7,1940. The bridge became famous as "the most dramatic failure in bridge engineering history." Now, it's also "one of the world's largest man-made reefs." The sunken remains of Galloping Gertie were placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992 to protect her from salvagers. A dramatic tale of failure and success The story of the failure of the 1940 Narrows Bridge and the success of the Current Narrows Bridge is a great American saga. When Galloping Gertie splashed into Puget Sound, it created ripple effects across the nation and around the world. The event changed forever how engineers design suspension bridges. Gertie's failure led to the safer suspension spans we use today.

Time Lapse - Rail Bridge Replacement, Cow Lane, Reading
Upper Cut Productions was commissioned by BAM Nuttall and Network Rail to film a rail bridge reconstruction project in Reading, during the Christmas period of 2011. 3 weather-proofed time lapse cameras were installed in various locations to capture the progress of the new bridge construction - they have taken nearly 1/4million photographs over the last 6 months. Following the short video of the bridge move between 24.12.11 and 28.12.11, this video reveals the full project from the bridge construction to the site clearance after New Year. This video is best watched at 720p and 'large screen' (but not full screen) for maximum quality.

Loughour Bridge Replacement - Update.
With work well on its way to completely replace the bridge carrying the passenger line between Swansea and Llanelli over the River Loughor this year, I have done this update, including some footage from 2011 from locations no longer accessible whilst the Engineering preparations are taking place. I have tried to include as much of the detail of the bridge, as a record of how it was before being completely replaced in a few months time. This is an iconic structure in the area, and will be sadly missed when it disappears.

When I was a kid, my grandmother gave me a music box and it played "Over The Rainbow". I saw Wizard Of Oz around that same time. I was 5. I recognized that 'beautiful song' from that 'scary movie' (I WAS only 5).. Couldn't believe that such a beautiful melody could exist on the same piece of celluloid as that freakin' wicked witch's face that scared me so bad.LOL (No, it wasn't the flying monkies, they were kewl!) Anyway, . later in years, I lost my music box somewhere . .Later than that,.. I sorta forgot about it all together.. Then about 10 or so years ago, I got reminded of it again by a very odd circumstance. One of my Heartmonger friends (Hi Marit!) had gone to the Million Mom March in Wash DC. Ann Wilson (Heart) was there and sang "Over The Rainbow" solo (sans the band). She was joined on stage by her daughter (all of 7-9 yrs old, I think), Marie. I never got to actually hear Ann sing the song, as I didn't know she was involved with the march or performing there. But, my good friend had gone downtown and ...took pictures. I worked at a 1 hr. photo. :)) She brought in the roll of film later on. In many photos, I noticed all the *pink* people were wearing.. I heard what song Ann had sung. My music box was *pink*. So, all that jogged my memory of my grandmother's music box that I lost. A few weeks later, I decided that I might try and learn how to play that song. Originally, I learned it on my Guild Starfire semi-hollowbody (with the Bigsby).. it was the only guitar <b>...</b>

Please read the description of this video to learn more about this performance. www.stevesairshow.com Red Arrows Over New York City Wednesday June 25, 2008 IN THIS VIDEO, watch as the Red Arrows fly a spectacular rolling show performance over New York Harbor for a special crowd gathered at South Beach in Staten Island. The Reds' performance over NYC was their first, and was part of a larger North American goodwill tour, which included airshows in Quebec City, Langley AFB, and Rhode Island, and the NYC performance brought mainly in part by ICAP, which is the world's premier voice and electronic interdealer broker, delivering specialist intermediary broking services to trading professionals in the wholesale financial markets. Despite the fact that it was a private show for the company (and that ICAP had a private party on South Beach, as noted by the large tent you saw in the beginning of the video), it was indeed open to the public to view from the beach or boardwalk. You can see one of my friends, who is a photographer out of the Perth Amboy NJ area, in some of the shots, as he shot from one of the jetties. Following their performance over Staten Island, the Reds were joined by another Red Arrow, for a couple flybys of the Statue of Liberty as part of a special photo shoot. As proud Chicagoans, we came up with too many locations to fit into three segments, but the city would practically revoke our residency if we didn't mention The Blues Brothers.And rightfully so. More than 30 years after its release, The Blues Brothers still casts a long shadow over Chicago. The city has since become a frequent destination for filmmakers, but that wasn't the case in 1980. The intro piece is a very complex explosion sequence and that's taking a long time to produce. I even found some Brio trains so maybe it's time for another big test video including all Diesels! Fixing a BADLY Broken Nose - took FOUR adjustments to set!!
ice3024 is the guy setting it; www.facebook.com is my brother, with the broken nose. His nose got badly broken playing football... It took four adjustments to straighten and set before it was vertically straight. The inferior turbinate of the cavity opposite the swelling did not englare, which would have reduced airflow. After the swelling went down there was a small bump over the bridge that did require surgery, a septoplasty, to fix the nasal septum.
