Osbourne rose to prominence as lead singer of the pioneering English heavy metal band Black Sabbath, whose radically different, intentionally dark, harder sound helped spawn the heavy metal genre. In his subsequent solo career Osbourne achieved a multi-platinum status in addition to the one he had earned with Black Sabbath. These things are what led Osbourne to become known as the "Godfather of Heavy Metal". It was during his Sabbath days that, due to their dark style of music, Osbourne became known as the "Prince of Darkness". Osbourne has over 15 tattoos, the most famous of which are the letters OZZY across the knuckles of his left hand. This was his first tattoo, created by himself as a teenager with a sewing needle and pencil lead. "Bopkins" "Let Me Hear You Scream" "Ozzy Ozbourne" "Drum Cover" I heard this song on the radio two days ago, I just had to cover it. It's such an amazing tune. Again, this is by no means a perfect cover, a few timing issues here and there, I'm just havin fun with the song. Adding my own flare to it. I didn't learn the drum parts exactly, as recorded by drummer "Tommy Clufetos", just the main punches, hits and feel. The production and all the songs on this album are phenomenal !!! I highly recommend buying it. Kudos to Ozzy, his band and team for creating such an awesome album. I haven't edited or manipulated the original content in any way, I just recorded and mixed my own drums, then turned em up so my drums would "mask" the original drums in the track, if you listen very carefully you'll still hear the original recorded drums in the background.
