Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade got into a confrontation with coach Erik Spoelstra on Thursday during the Heat's loss to the Pacers. Miami Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen saw this confrontation, and had some choice words for Wade."I will kick his ass," Guillen told reporters Friday. "Well, I won't say I'll kick his ass. 10/28/2010 Last night around 6PM, I got a call from Ozzie's owner. He was headed to the emergency vet because he seemed unable to move his entire back end. No rear leg control, no tail movement. All was limp. The vet was unable to determine anything, so gave him some medications (I recall Steroids being in the list somewhere) and kept him overnight, hoping that it was a temporary thing and that he would get better. This morning, no improvement. This was when I decided, I had to go see him, and I got the invite to do so. So about 9:45 I get there, and he's just being loved on, followed by me loving on him... So he's simply enjoying himself, but at the same time trying to move in ways that apparently he lost the ability to do. Calls were made, and I was told that if he didn't recover at all, the most likely course of action was going to be to put him to sleep. Well, after over an hour with him, we left. Fast forward to this evening around 5:15. New call, and I headed back to the vet's to spend what ended up being his last hour with him. He hadn't recovered at all as far as moving ability , and it was determined that rather than make it so he has to try to live as a paraplegic (which would be VERY difficult for him, as he's also got a bit of arthritis everywhere else), it would be better to let him go. He was surrounded by the people he loved the most throughout the ordeal, and left his world behind very peacefully at 5:55 PM, October 28th 2010... And if I'm not mistaken, he <b>...</b>

The Nelsons gather after dinner and begin to discuss a newspaper article about a young boy who was lost until located by Sgt. Dolan of the local police department. Sgt. Dolan treats the boy to a huge tutti-frutti ice cream cone while waiting for the boy's parents to arrive. When Ozzie and Harriet recall the ample portions of tutti-frutti ice cream they enjoyed as kids, Ozzie just can't seem to shake his craving for his favorite flavor from long ago. Ozzie dreams of tutti-frutti ice cream and awakens suddenly to begin a night long search for one of his joys of long ago. Wally joins the family for dinner and Harriet tells a story about Ozzie's first absence from home, some twenty-five years previously. Ozzie can't remember it but Harriet states that during that time Ozzie sent her one red rose every day for a week. The next day, Joe, Ozzie's next door neighbor confronts Ozzie calling him a "Rose A Day Romeo." It seems that Joe's wife, Clara, heard the "rose a day" story from Harriet and is jealous. Later that day the perplexed Ozzie receives a delivery of one red rose for Harriet. Ozzie believes that Joe sent the rose as a practical joke. Joe denies sending the rose and he and Ozzie set out to do some detective work on the mysterious rose delivery. Renown character actor, Robert "Bob" Jellison, plays the role of the tip hungry delivery man. Not too many prime time comedy series manage to stay on the air for 14 years but this one did for over 14 years. Unfortunately, we'll probably never see a true comprehensive release of the series for the usual mucked up reasons - original prints lost, most prints were edited a great deal for syndication and what was cut out is lost forever, and many of the episodes our now in public domain. It's kind of tragic that such a large slice of American Television has been treated so tragically. This particular episode comes from an episode which is part of a 100 episode set released by Mill Creek which costs less than 20 bucks. That alone should tell you something. But you get what you pay for. Many of the episodes on this set are in awful condition, but I recommend it anyway because even at that its better than many of the other sets out there. Even the officially sanctioned set by the Nelson estate was filled with the edited versions of episodes whereas this set has more of the complete episodes than any of the others. Anyway, this is one of the Christmas episodes entitled The Christmas Tree lot whereas Rick and Dave encounter problems when they decide to sell Christmas trees in order to buy a gift for Ozzie. And when you figure the running time, I do believe this episode is complete and is in a lot better shape than many of the others. This episode is listed on the IMDB as having originally aired on December 18, 1957.
