On the 80th death anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, people from different walks of life have organized a walk and run on Sunday 27th March 2011, 9.00 am at Bear Creek Park. The nominal entry fee decided is $5 for kids less then 14 years of age and $10 for all above. All the registered participants will get a free T-shirt with a picture of Shaheed Bhagat Singh on it. Beside the decision that all the money raised from this event will be donated to Surrey Food Bank, the organizing committee also encourages the participants to bring out dry and non perishable food items for Surrey Food Bank's drive.
