Pepi Ginsberg's new video for "Shake This" stars The Ranger$, a pioneering dance crew of high schoolers from Los Angeles, who have recently been profiled in the New York Times, LA Times and LA Weekly. Pepi was introduced to the group via a friend's youtube recommendation, where the crew's fan base is rapidly growing. She and director Gian Mazcour reached out to the boys to collaborate and in a matter of weeks the musician, dancers, and a film crew were in Culver City shooting the video. An inspired, and ultimately successful union of two worlds, the "Shake This" video is a beautiful portrait of a day in the life of the Ranger$, set to Pepi's song, in an exciting documentary style. The song "Shake This" appears on the "Shake This" digital EP available on iTunes, and on the forthcoming "East is East" LP to be released by Park the Van Records in January 2010.
