Johann Pachelbel's Canon in D Major- An Amazing Video
Pachelbel's Canon, also known as Canon in D major (Kanon und Gigue für 3 Violinen mit Generalbaß in German) (PWC 37, T. 337, PC 358), is the most famous piece of music by German Baroque composer Johann Pachelbel. It was originally scored for three violins and basso continuo and paired with a gigue in the same key. Like most other works by Pachelbel and other pre-1700 composers, the Canon remained forgotten for centuries and was rediscovered only in the 20th century. Several decades after it was first published in 1919, the piece became extremely popular, and today it is frequently played at weddings and included on classical music compilations, along with other famous Baroque pieces such as Air on the G String by Johann Sebastian Bach.

Rolly is an egg-shaped digital robotic music player made by Sony, combining music functions with robotic dancing. It has several motors that allow it to rotate and spin, as well as two bands of LED lights running around its edge and cup-like "wings" (or "arms" according to the Sony sonystyle USA website) which can open and close on either end, all of which can be synchronized to the music being played. Sound-sensitivity components detect beat, rhythm, voice and pitch, which can be used to have the device automatically react to music. It also has a G force sensor (accelerometer) which detects if the player is moving up or down. Preprogrammed movements along with music can be downloaded from personal computers using Bluetooth, having been composed on the computer or obtained from Sony's repository of user-made movement schemes. It has one gigabyte of flash memory to store music files.[1] On August 20, 2007, Sony launched an initial teaser advertising campaign for the product.[2]. The product was unveiled on September 20, 2007, and went on sale in Japan on September 29, and its currently for sale at the Sony sonystyle USA website[3] for $399.99 USD. It is available in black and in white. Sony offers the "Engrave it." option for this item, and a number of accessories, including "arms" in different colors. It was announced it would be discountinued in North America and many retailers sold it at a clearance price of $99.

The Apolinario Mabini Hiking Society, popularly known as Apo Hiking Society or simply Apo, is a Filipino musical group[1] (and contrary to popular belief, the "Apo" in the group's name is not Mount Apo). Formed in 1969, the group was originally composed of 13 members[1]: Lito de Joya, Sonny Santiago, Gus Cosio, Renato Garcia, Chito Kintanar, Kenny Barton, Bruce Brown, Butch Dans, Kinjo Sawada, Ric Segreto, Goff Macaraeg, Doden Besa, Jim Paredes, and Boboy Garrovillo, all students from the Ateneo de Manila high school. Danny Javier joined the group when they were in college. After they graduated in college, the other group members eventually left the group to pursue their own careers. Only three members[2], made up of Jim Paredes, Boboy Garovillo and Danny Javier, remain and continued performing[3]. During the span of their career, Apo has been one of the primary adherents to the Original Pilipino Music or OPM music movement and have made several contributions for the said movement[2][4][5]. The Apo is also involved in record production, talent management and even organizing artists under the Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit (OPM). The group is also instrumental in establishing careers of new artists in the Philippines[5].
