Even though I'm not sure if the songwriter is a male or female, but the name he/she used makes the song that much more wonderful. The meaning of the name is along the line of: "to remember and never forget or to imprint in your mind" - If this is not a pen name, then the songwriter's parents probably wanted their son/daughter to always remember a certain benefactor.
