Here's my review of the XBox 360 Version of Pinball Hall of Fame Williams Collection. This game was also released on the PS3, Nintendo Wii, PS2 and PSP. This game showcases 13 of Williams Pinball's best games from the 70's 80's and 90's. The PS3/XBox 360 versions include online leaderboards and three new tables not included in previous versions, Medieval Madness, No Good Gophers and Tales of The Arabian Nights. The gameplay is rock solid and is one of the best video pinball games around. If your a fan of pinball you owe it to yourself to check it out. If not, you might be interested in seeing how pinball evolved from the early days to newer tables today. It's well worth the 30 dollars for 13 great tables and online leaderboards. Let's hope Crave will continue on with this series of games and make another Williams Collection or hopefully a Bally Pinball Collection too! The next episode of Arcade Hunters is coming soon! The object of the game is to help the Doctor defeat Davros, The Daleks and The Master and fix the Time Stream using the game's main feature, The Time Expander. Star Wars Episode 1 Pinball review. Classic Game Room reviews STAR WARS EPISODE 1 Pinball from Midway released in 1999 to celebrate the release of Star Wars Episide I. Admittedly, CGR is not a fan of Episode 1 and its CGI mishmash of terrible creatures like Jar Jar and Watto... sadly this carries through to the pinball machine. Star Wars Episode 1 pinball is part of Williams Pinball 2000 series of games that combined monitors and video game like graphics with traditional pinball gameplay. This ended up being Williams' last table and suffers from an over-use of the video display that conflicts with the pinball gameplay. Some players may love this feature which is creative and bounces a video image off the reflective glass, others will find it annoying and distracting.

One of only 90 Varkon machines ever produced, this amazing model lives at the Professional and Amateur Pinball Association World Headquarters in Pittsburgh. Varkon is a pinball machine crammed into an upright arcade game cabinet and played in a mirror with joysticks for flipper controls. Plays like a pinball machine, tasts like a videogame. Varkon is a rarity and very cool because of it, also the art design, title and gameplay are truly unique and very detailed. It handles in a unique way because the gameplay is basically reversed and the joysticks change the characteristics of ball handling. gamegridarcade.com Here's a look at the new Indiana Jones pinball by Stern. It is one of the most popular games in my arcade right now now and for good reason - it's a lot of fun and very addicting. If you're a video game player who has never given pinball a chance then Indiana Jones is a good way to start out. I never was a pinball player until a few months ago but now I'm hooked as it's a uniquely fun experience you can't get at home without paying several thousand dollars and recreated pinball tables on a game console are not even close to the real thing, no matter how good the graphics or physics are. After the video I went on to have a good game, finishing at about 54 million points - not crazy good but I'm still learning the finer points of pinball. Indiana Jones pinball features elements from each film, including The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The goal of the game is to unlock 4 scenes from each movie so you can see the Final Adventure, which is quite a challenge. They picked some memorable scenes and quotes from the movies but when it comes to The Crystal Skull, unfortunately they didn't work anything out with Lucasarts or Spielberg to get some actual scenes from the movie put into the game - instead there are about three very brief snippets from the trailer and no quotes. Granted the game was developed before the movie came out and they were locking down any information on the film but I would think that for a game set to show scenes from the movie they could <b>...</b>

Here's a review of the Bally/Williams pinball machine, NBA Fastbreak (fast break). This game was designed by George Gomez. George also designed TRON, Discs of TRON, Monster Bash, Revenge from Mars, Stern Transformers and others. This game features a fan layout and the players and teams form the NBA in 1997. Michael Jordan is not present but other great players from this era are. The Chicago Bulls are by far the highest rated team in this great game.

Classic Game Room HD reviews PINBALL QUEST from Jaleco for the Nintendo Entertainment System NES. This unique game combines pinball with an adventure RPG fantasy game... yes, that's like mixing tequila with mayonaisse, yet somehow it works (actually don't try that cocktail, it was just the first thing that popped into my mind. Someone bought one for me as a dare and it wasn't good). Pinball Quest is an 8-bit game dripping with creative innovation that falls a bit flat with sub-par physics and repetitive gameplay. The concept is brilliant, mixing pinball with an 8-bit fantasy adventure game like Zelda. I think that this game could be remade to really kick ass.
