In the evening, about 7 pm they go in a slow march towards the Airborne square, to grace the real Market Garden Commemoration. You find everything about laying wreaths, speeches, national anthems of Poland, United Kingdom and The Netherlands (Mazurek Dabrowskiego, God save the queen, Wilhelmus), Dutch Hymn 293 Last Post, respectfull silence to the casualities and the reveille. The completion of the ceremony was at the Arnhem town hall, of which I taped the performance of the Massed Pipes and Drums Band. Thanks to God for sending deliverance. Thanks to those who lost their lives for the victory. Rest in peace! The "Massed Pipes and Drums Band" encompasses these bands: •1. Lowender Peran is the largest global clan gathering and Festival of the Celts, featuring Celtic Music, Dance, Poetry and Cultural events from Brittany, Ireland, Isle of Man, Scotland and Wales, held annually in Perranporth Cornwall. The Toronto Fire Services Pipes and Drums was established in 1998. The band was conceived by firefighters as a traditional means of representing our department. The band comprises mostly of Toronto firefighters from all divisions who proudly wear the Toronto Fire Services Tartan. We attend department funerals, recruit graduations, promotional presentations, award and merit ceremonies and any other fire fighting related function. We also participate in parades and community events within and outside of our community.

This is the Pipes and Drums of the 5th/6th Battalion, Royal Victoria Regiment, Australian Army Reserves. It is one of the few remaining Australian Army pipe bands. The tartan we wear is Gordon, as we have an affiliation with the Gordon Highlanders. Here, we play the music for a March Out Parade for a promotions course I believe. The two tunes are 'Scotland the Brave' and 'Badge of Scotland'. I am the piper in the second rank, on the right.

The Peatbog Faeries are a largely instrumental Celtic fusion band. Formed in 1991, they are based in Dunvegan on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. Their music embodies many styles and influences, including folk, electronica, rock and jazz, - but their main influence is traditional celtic music. The band's unique sound is created through a mix of programmed effects and traditional celtic arrangements, played on bagpipes, fiddles, and whistles. The Peatbogs have recorded six studio albums, they made their first live release in April 2009 and their latest CD, "Dust" was released on the 8th of August this year. The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers and Greys) (SCOTS DG) is a cavalry regiment of the British Army, and the senior Scottish regiment. It was formed on 2 July 1971 at Holyrood, Edinburgh, by the amalgamation of the 3rd Carabiniers (Prince of Wales's Dragoon Guards) (themselves the product of the amalgamation in 1922 of 3rd Dragoon Guards (Prince of Wales's) and 6th Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers)), and The Royal Scots Greys (2nd Dragoons). The regiment has won numerous battle honours and two Victoria Crosses, and, through the Royal Scots Greys, is the oldest surviving Cavalry Regiment of the Line in the British Army. The pipes and drums have also distinguished themselves, most recently winning the award for Album of the Year at the 2009 Classical Brits[1]. The regiment is currently based in Fallingbostel, British Forces Germany, as part of the 7th Armoured Brigade ('The Desert Rats'). In 1998, it became the first regiment in the British Army to operate the Challenger 2 main battle tank.
