Pip's fawn moving inside her tummy. This is just a couple of weeks ago. The fawn has been born but I fear it was eaten by a bear. We have a lot of bear this year and competition for food is fierce. So far I haven't seen one fawn, which is very unusual. It's sad but that's nature. There's always next year.

Pippin is a musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Roger O. Hirson. Bob Fosse also contributed to the libretto. The show was based on the life of Pippin the Hunchback, the son of Charlemagne. The show was partially financed by Motown Records. The show premiered on Broadway at the Imperial Theater on October 23, 1972 and ran for 1944 performances before closing on June 12, 1977. It was directed and choreographed by Bob Fosse. As of April 2009, Pippin is the 29th longest-running Broadway show. Before its release, Racing Days was thought to be one of the few "killer apps" for the Apple-developed Pippin. Once people finally got a chance to play it, however, it was pretty clear that trouble lay ahead for Bandai's entry into the home console business. Racing Days bills itself as one of the first fully texture mapped racing games. While that is great and all, unfortunately the developers forgot to build a good game around the graphics. The controls are horrible. The hit detection is largely suspect. The car will constantly careen towards walls. Oh yeah, and the frame rate manages to stay in the teens and single digits for the entire game. Nice. This video is part of an upcoming review on Die-Hard Gamer. The Zippin Pippin Rollercoaster Green Bay, WI The Zippin Pippin is one of the country's oldest wooden roller coasters. It was built in 1912 and was moved to its current location at the Mid-South Fairgrounds in 1923. In 1976, an amusement park called Libertyland was built around the coaster. Elvis, himself, loved the Zippin Pippin and would occasionally rent out the entire amusement park so that he could ride it without interruption. In fact, a sign posted at the coaster's entrance reads: "The Zippin Pippin was Elvis Presley's favorite ride. The "King" rented Libertyland August 8, 1977 from 1:15 am to 7 am. to entertain a group of about 10 guests. Decked in a blue jumpsuit with black leather belt, huge belt buckle with turquoise studs and gold chains, the "King" rode the Zippin Pippin repeatedly during a two-hour period. He lost his belt buckle on the ride that morning, and it was found and returned the next day. Elvis's Libertyland rental became his last public appearance. He died August 16." In 2005, Libertyland closed its gates, citing financial difficulties. The Zippin Pippin still stands, however, and you can still see it from the parking lot at the fairgrounds. Although you cannot ride the coaster at this time, efforts are ongoing to get it running again. Originally constructed by John A. Miller and Harry Baker of National Amusement Devices. The Apple Bandai Pippin was release in 1996, and sold for $599 USD. This was one of the worst selling systems of all time with less then 5000 @World systems sold.
