
Aaron Platt's (youtube.com/plattino) "Apologize" video is the 7th most viewed and listened to songs on YouTube. But, do you think its the most romantic song on YouTube? And, do you think this instrumental cover of the song by Josh Vietti, pop violinist is one of the best on YouTube? I wish YouTube had a YouVote button. Yes, I know that YouTube already has a 5-Star rating system you can click on for each video. But, the star system indicates only if you like or dislike a video. There is no way to select and vote on a video by categories based on video type. For example, if it is a music video, it would be nice to be able to click on a big, fat VOTE button and choose Best Song, Best Cover, Best Artist/Musician, etc. I guess what I have in mind, is a POLL with real-time statistics that would be useful for everyone: content owner, audience, artists, advertisers, search engines. The winners would be based on viewer votes instead of raw statistics such as most viewed. Most Viewed or Most Discussed does not necessarily indicate most liked.
