Officer Nelson aborts his investigation and runs over to the scene of a traffic stop. When the officer arrives, he forced to use his taser on the uncooperative driver involved in the traffic stop. To their surprise, the desperate driver takes off in his vehicle and leads them on a dangerous high-speed chase. The pursuit ends when the several police units corner the suspect in a public parking lot. When asked why he ran, the driver claims that the officers scared him. On Saturday, April 14, 2012, APD and AFD came together with "A Wish with Wings" and made a dream come true for a 7-year-old boy, Kye, who has leukemia. We granted a Batman adventure wish for Kye. The adventure began at 10 am and ended with a special ceremony at City Hall where Assistant Police Chief James Hawthorne presented Kye a 'key to the City.' Kye's special day included a bank, fake money, motor officers, a bogus "bomb" and couple of cackling villains whose criminal acts were foiled by the good guys.

The incident was recorded by security cameras at the Merrimack County House of Corrections. Last July, when Officer Daniel Ball arrested Chris Smith of Boscawen after a domestic incident, cameras at the jail showed Ball putting on a pair of gloves and taking Smith out of the back of his police cruiser. The video showed what looked like an exchange of words. For a few moments, Ball holds Smith in place, and then in a whirling motion, Ball slams Smith onto the hood of the cruiser and back into the wall. Smith is now filing a civil lawsuit against Ball, the Boscawen Police Department, the jail and Officer Nick Emery. Smith claims Emery corroborated Ball's version of what happened. "Chris Smith was knocked unconscious by this. He had blood on his face. The video reflects that there was a pool of blood that formed underneath his head," said Rick Lehmann, Smith's attorney. Smith was charged with two crimes for what was seen in the video: resisting arrest and criminal mischief for denting the police cruiser with his head. A jury found him not guilty on the latter charge but convicted him of resisting arrest. Due to forge restrictions on money and amount of each type of thing you can use, there are obvious omissions from the map. I was going to commentate over it saying "you would find X here" but decided that I was too lazy for that I would have loved to have a basement, complete with parking garage and such, but couldn't fit it in the budget, so I blocked off the heart door that leads to it.
