I'm crazy about you! Why are you laughing every day at my poor love? Love me, please love me. I'm crazy about you! Really, do you take such pleasure in seeing me suffer? If I think of your silence. Your eyes full of trouble. No hope is allowed. Yet I want to play my luck. Even if...even if...I had to burn my life. Love me, please love me. I'm crazy about you! But you always make fun of my poor love. Faced with such indifference, sometimes I feel like melting into the night. In the morning in my confidence I say, I think everything could change today. Love me, please love me. I'm crazy about you! Yet your distant coldness tears my heart. Love me, please love me. I'm crazy about you! But you always make fun of my tears of love.

Viens te faire chahuter, Te faire chahuter Chahuter Te faire chahuter. Viens te faire chahuter, Te faire chahuter Chahuter Te faire chahuter.

Hitting the road Salaries over I'm responsible for shouldering the load When you are the show, Then you know the show, Must go on Drag cicsel queen Wearing crush velveteen Can't someone slow down the machine Too much caffeine And too much nicotine Someone slow down the machine I'm longing for space Longing for time Why can't folks just say what they mean ? Why can't this ever-lovin' life I'm leading Ever feel clean ? Slow down the machine I really need so bad to unwind I really need to rest my mind Velvet stocade Spiked lemonade Fifty magazine reporters to persuade When you are the show, Then you know the show, Must go on Making the grade Not getting paid I'm rehearsing for a ticker-tape parade When you are the show, Then you know the show, Must go on Gotta get a scene, chippy, chip, chip scene Chippy, chip, chip, chip star-crippers's dream Please slow down the machine, trippy ! Cream limousins, Black and blue scream Please Longing for space Longing for time Why can't folks just say what they mean ...

Michel Polnareff - 'Nulle part ailleurs' interview (1999)

Michel's second promotional TV interview for the 1999 single "Je rêve d'un monde (When I'm in love"). On 4 June 1999, he is talking live from LA with Guillaume Durant for the famous Nulle Part Ailleurs TV show on Canal+. Not only does Michel wear a t-shirt of himself but he also emulates his frightening look of the "Je rêve d'un monde" video done for TF1, but the haircut is sensibly different here (he has straight hair, while in the other video these are curly). Anyway, there are a couple of moments where the lights are very briefly on and you can actually see Michel's face if you freeze frame the video. Durant asks clever questions but obviously questions Michel's state of mind for appearing in such a strange fashion ! Anyway... Michel promises us an album for the autumn of 1999, with a concert tour to follow in 2000. Well, he kept his promise for the concert tour, albeit 7 years later. As for the album, oh well... :-)))
