In an interview with RT members of London-based instrumental band Portico Quartet - Jack, Keir, Duncan and Milo - talk about the local and the international in their music, as well as about difficulties of having a political stand and why they think the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Portico Quarte came to prominence after being nominated for a Mercury prize in 2007. Now into their third album, the band is in the middle of their European tour.
