Hello, everyone. I hope you all had a very merry Christmas and wish you Happy Holidays! At least I hope yours was better than mine, that will be very nice to know. Anyway, I feel like it is time to post my top 15 uplifting trance tracks with some progressive in there as well for the 2011 year. I believe that this was quite a good year for uplifting, but I do think that the past two years were better for delivering great tunes consistently! However, I found myself listening to these tracks the most throughout this year and I absolutely think that they are all superb in their own unique way. We like to combine the old and the new and we attempt to avoid falling into traditional genre classifications if possible. "I Forget" is the first song we wrote. the main song ideas were written by Jason Kendal years before the band MX Missile formed, but the collaboration helped arrange the song into the lengthy trip that is has become. Some sections are inspired by trance, some by guitar hero style playing, some sections are meant to encompass a euphoric trip, and it all comes to a close with a big metal crescendo.
