As most of you know, I keep my hair tucked away 90% of the month. This is how I keep my hair well preserved. Now that I've reached my goal of bra strap length, my new goal is waist length. I am roughly 3 inches away. So in another 6 months, I should be there. At that time, I will blow dry and or flat iron my hair to see reveal it's true length. But since I'd already used it 2 days previously and then coated my hair with a shea butter and jojoba oil mixture to stretch it out, my hair is already matted with product build up. When my hair is matted with product and tangled like this, it is time for a wash. But the great thing about this style is that it can disguise "dirty" hair! About SHEA BUTTER- Yes, shea butter, no matter how "raw, unrefined and natural", is still a product. Keep in mind that just because it is a "natural" product, does not mean it won't build up ...
