One of the questions I'm often asked is: "I can't do a single pull-up, what should I do?" Not to mention the people still so much haunted by bad memories of 5th grade PE class that they don't ever attempt to do pull-ups again and just leave them out of their routine. Which is wrong, because pull-ups are probably the best exercise you can do for your back! And you, too, can build the strength to do them! It just takes some perserverance and a place to do pull-ups. The following pull-ups for beginners program is for those that already find a regular chin-up difficult, will show you how to do pull ups correctly and take you from zero pull-ups to your first one and beyond. Home lat workout, assisted pullups exercises for beginners


Pullups are the all-around best exercise for lats but it takes a lot of strength to do them, a catch-22 of sorts. This video clip shows three ways you can do assisted pullups until you are strong enough to do them on your own. Please make sure all the components are properly rated for at least 2X the maximum load, only quality mountaineering components should be used. If you are not competent to build such a system, please consult a mechanical engineer or professional mountaineer. The video shows the use of a belt, this is only appropriate for very light weights, for heavier weights a mountaineering harness should be used. Anyone can be healthier, have more energy, sleep better, and feel better about themselves through bodybuilding. Bodybuilding doesn't have to be expensive or take a lot of time, gyms are great but home workouts can save you time and money.
