It aims to build on the success of its predecessor, the Grande Punto, and become a benchmark for innovation, safety and style thanks to several new features. The Punto Evo features a broad range of Euro 5 engines, including the second-generation 1.3 MultiJet and the 1.4 MultiAir - the technology developed by Fiat Powertrain Technologies, that will gradually be adopted by all Fiat Group engines. My cousin filming while I was driving the brand new ABRTH PUNTO EVO: 163 HP with multiair engine, acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 7,9 sec. (I think it was even faster :D ) 6 Gears + reverse and so on... the car was brand new and only had 253 kilometers on the tacho-/speedometer... I'd liked to drive even faster, but unfortunately there was to much traffic... anyway I hope you enjoy the video ;)

The sporty new Fiat Punto Evo Abarth also features a new performance mode selection system that modulates engine, braking and steering action to offer a choice of two different driving styles - Sport and Normal - to suit road conditions and driver preference. The mode selector is conveniently located on the central tunnel in front of the gear lever and lets you switch between the two modes quickly and easily, simply by moving a lever. The currently selected mode is displayed on the dashboard. If you are looking for a safe, relaxing drive, all you have to do is select Normal mode, while if you feel the need to enjoy the full performance of your Fiat Punto Evo Abarth, flip the switch to Sport position and thrill to the power! Sport mode makes the car more responsive, using electrical servo systems to modify handling and deliver the ultimate sporting feel. Due attention has also been paid to safety of course, so Sport mode also engages the TTC system automatically. As in rally cars, the driver is assisted by GSI (Gear Shift Indicator). Fiat Punto Evo 1.2 65 ch - Dynamic Pour le lancement de la Punto Evo, Fiat a sorti lartillerie lourde: un porte-avions! Cest, en effet, sur le pont du navire italien Cavour que le nouveau vaisseau amiral du constructeur turinois a été dévoilé. Une présentation à la hauteur du coût du restylage: 215 millions deuros pour revoir optiques, boucliers et agrémenter sa compacte de nouvelles motorisations. Cest pas un peu cher payé ? La nouveauté est concentrée dans lhabitacle. La planche de bord profite dun nouveau dessin et de matériaux plus valorisants. Dommage toutefois que les plastiques durs persistent. Côté équipement, pariez sur le milieu de gamme Dynamic avec clim et sept airbags. Enfin, au rang des options, Fiat propose linédit Blue&Me TomTom, avec fonction GPS, téléphonie et ordinateur de bord pour 800 euros. Les blocs de 65 et 77 ch reprennent du service aux côtés de deux nouvelles motorisations essence. Le petit bloc, suffisant pour la ville, se montre toutefois à la peine sur route. Au chapitre agrément de conduite, pas de changement. La Punto Evo a conservé les défauts de son aînée. Elle manque de dynamisme et le train avant paresseux demeure imprécis en courbes. La Fiat Punto Evo est toujours proposée en trois ou en cinq portes. Lhabitabilité est identique à celle de la Grande Punto.
