Umm Qais - Gadara

Umm Qais is the modern town located on the place of the roman city of Gadara. It is a vast place with plenty of ruins. The first part of the movie shows the Western Theatre followed by the view of the Bazilica from below and then the central view of the remains of the Bazilica. As the city was build of bazalt the details on the columns have been preserved. It is very nice and accesible from Amman or Madaba on a day trip.
