Enticing the wild cat and its kitten out of the rain gutter to eat. Maligaya, Philippines

Many, if not most, of the cats around here are wild. They live wherever they can find shelter. The white one with the blue eyes has been here as long as I have. Recently it had two kittens. One died at birth. They are very people shy, living mostly off of garbage (and they really know how to tear into a garbage bag). The first 40 seconds of this video are wasted waiting for them to come out of the gutter and head for the milk. But is it kinda interesting if you watch.

A New Twist On The Self Watering Rain Gutter Grow System!

Thanks to my friend for sending me these pictures! My son is a pastor and very involved in missions! I have been working on a system that could be built very inexpensively with common materials! I will be building a similar type system later this week and will post the video! The pipe will ......be mounted in the ground so no wood is needed and buckets or grow bags will set on top! They will wick the water up threw holes drilled in the pipe with some kind of cotton sock or other material! The buckets will be mulched with wood chips or similar mulch to cut back on evaporation! In hot desert climates I believe this system would work great! Very minimal water usage and they could raise food in the heat of the summer!
