Vashti Bunyan - Train Song

Originally released as a single on Columbia in May 1966. It is based on an earlier song of hers, one entitled "17 Pink Sugar Elephants". Electric Light Orchestra - Hello My Old Friend

Recorded in 1983 for inclusion on the album Secret Messages, which was originally intended as a double album. The song saw eventual release in 1990 on the USA-only box set Afterglow. The lyrics tell of Jeff Lynne's hometown of Birmingham, West Midlands. I had planned a more adventurous video, though Windows Movie Maker seems to throw a wobbly when you attempt anything remotely clever! Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy. :)

Eurobeat style demonstration tune from the Yamaha PSS-480. For me, this was THE demonstration tune! It was very reminiscent of the music of Stock Aitken Waterman, who were devilishly successful at the time.

Without Someone

A somewhat random video - recorded for the hell of it - underpinned by a fine ELO song. Recorded in May 2008, on a tube journey from Edgware to Golders Green, with the train deciding to wait an eternity at Brent Cross. I guess the boredom overtook me. Apologies for the needless audio compression. This appears to be the responsibility of YouTube.
