Phillip Phillips- We've Got Tonight- Recorded Version

American Idol Season 11 WINNER, Phillip Phillips singing Bob Segar's We've Got Tonight. I want to skate to this so bad! Oh, and I believe I'm supposed to say something about not owning any rights to this song... because I don't. Finally, my dearest Phillip, if you're accepting wife applications, I'd be interested in picking one up. Your voice makes my toes curl.

Black Box Ride on Time [ 1989 ] HD version

"Ride on Time" is a 1989 song recorded by band Black Box. It was later released on their debut LP Dreamland. The song achieved a great success in many countries, such as UK and Ireland where it was a number-one hit. The song was written and produced by the Italian production team Groove Groove Melody, consisting of DJ Daniel Davoli, programmer Mirko Limoni and musician Valerio Semplici. The team worked with model Catherine Quinol (aka Katrin), who was the face of Black Box. In the video and in live performances she lip-synced to the original vocals. The song sampled Loleatta Holloway's 1980 disco hit "Love Sensation" and attracted some controversy for the uncredited use of Holloway's vocals from that song. Holloway's counsel engaged in a press attack on Black Box, successfully securing a settlement that paid the singer an undisclosed sum; the group had legally cleared the samples with Salsoul Records, who had released the original track, but Holloway was in arrears for advances from the label and thus was not recompensed by Salsoul. For the re-release of the song, M People singer Heather Small recorded the vocals. The song's title derives from a sample of Holloway singing the lyrics "thank you baby, 'cause you're right on time". The altered title is a consequence of "flapping", which makes American T's sound like D's to people who do not speak American English. //text source: en.wikipedia.org

NES Tetris - 999999 (Official World Record)

This is the Official World Record for NES Tetris. This was achieved on April 19, 2009 and was verified by Twin Galaxies on May 1, 2009. This was played by Twin Galaxies rules meaning no cheats or glitches were used whatsoever. This run was played on an NES console and recorded with a VCR. Thanks for viewing. - Harry "SuPa" Hong FAQ: Q: There is no Tetris "flash" after level 18. What's up with that? A: It is most likely due to frame loss during the video capturing process. Q: How did you start on level 18? A: On the level select screen, if you hold the "A" button and press the "Start" button, you will jump 10 levels depending on which level you chose. Q: Why did the score stop at 999999? A: 999999 is the highest score possible on this game. It does not roll over or go past 999999. Q: Why did you stop on level 29? A: Once level 29 is reached, it is humanly impossible to effectively maneuver the pieces. The game was meant to end at level 29.

OXYGENE 4 (EXTENDED VERSION) cover played on vintage synthesizers - music by Jean-Michel Jarre

I recorded this cover of OXYGENE IV - music by Jean-Michel Jarre. NO SAMPLES were used - just the real thing (vintage electronic instruments). Every sound was played by hand and recorded onto multitrack without MIDI - like Jarre did in 1976. It was hard work - it required good timing - but I enjoyed the recording process very much. At the first picture in the video you can see a part of my studio. I used only the following vintage analog synthesizers / instruments: EMINENT 310 Unique (for the strings and pads with Small Stone) KORG MINIPOPS 7 DRUMBOX ARP ODYSSEY (brass-like lead sound) KORG MS-20 (bass) MOOG MICROMOOG for the sequencer sound, white noise FX and the lead sound with ELECTRIC MISTRESS flanger. It took three days to record and mix this track. Recording and mixing was doing digitally with LOGIC - I also used the reverb and delay plugins - as well as some equalizer plugs. I used some of the original Instruments from Oxygene (Korg Minipops 7, Eminent 310U, Small Stone) and some other synths (I don't have a RMI or an ARP 2600). However, the ARP Odyssey that I used is the small brother of the 2600 and its basic sound is similar). For the RMI sounds I used the Micromoog, which has very fast envelopes. Music reproduced by kind permission of Jean Michel Jarre, see www.youtube.com As a big JMJ fan I always wanted to make a very good OXYGENE 4 cover - as a maxi-single version, that never existed. The Grateful Dead - Ripple (Studio Version)

Link to the picture: thingstolookathigh.com Robert Hunter, wrote this song in 1970 in London in the same afternoon he wrote "Brokedown Palace" and "To Lay Me Down" (reputedly also drinking an entire bottle of retsina in the process). The song debuted August 18, 1970 at Fillmore West in San Francisco. Like many folk songs, "Ripple" addresses itself as a song and an instrument of the performers' emotional expression. Several lines throughout the song echo the 23rd Psalm of the Bible. Trip hard and good, motherfuckers.

Metallica- Am I Evil? (Studio Version)

Am I Evil? by Metallica. My mother was a witch, she was burned alive Thankless little bitch, for the tears I cried Take her down now, dont want to see her face All blistered and burnt, cant hide my disgrace Twenty-seven, everyone was nice Gotta see em make em pay the price See their bodies out on the ice Take my time Am I evil? yes, I am Am I evil? I am man, yes, I am As I watched my mother die, I lost my head Revenge now I sought, to break with my bread Taking no chances, you come with me Ill split you to the bone, help set you free Twenty-seven, everyone was nice Gotta see em, make em pay the price See their bodies out on the ice Take my time Am I evil? yes, I am Am I evil? I am man, yes, I am, On with the action now, Ill strip your pride Ill spread your blood around, Ill see you ride Your face is scarred with steel, wounds deep and neat Like a double dozen before ya, smells so sweet Am I evil? yes, I am Am I evil? I am man Ill make my residence, Ill watch your fire You can come with me, sweet desire My face is long forgot, my face not my own Sweet and timely whore, take me home Am I evil? yes, I am Am I evil? I am man My soul is longing for, await my heir Sent to avenge my mother, sweep myself My face is long forgot, my face not my own Sweet and timely whore, take me home Am I evil? yes, I am Am I evil? Dire Straits- Sultans Of Swing (LIVE) full version

- Live in Basel 1992, full 11 minute version including the entire legendary solo. - "Sultans of Swing" was the first single release of the British rock band Dire Straits. - It was first recorded as a demo at Pathway Studios, North London, and quickly acquired a following after it was put on rotation at Radio London. It did not take long for its popularity to reach record executives, and Dire Straits were offered a contract with Phonogram Records. The song was then re-recorded and released in both the United Kingdom and the United States, though the demo version remained on the original UK Vertigo single. - The song was played before every home game of the Springfield (IL) Sultans of the Midwest League in 1994 and 1995. - The song was originally released in May 1978 but did not chart. Following re-issue in January 1979, the song entered the American music pop chart. Unusually, the success of this single release came more than six months after the relatively unheralded release of the band's debut album in October 1978. BBC Radio was unwilling to play the song due to its high lyrical content; after it became a US hit, their line softened. The song reached the top 10 in both the UK and the US, reaching number 8 on the UK Singles Chart and number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and helped drive sales of the album, which also became a hit. - It was re-issued again as a single in November 1988. - The original '78-'79 single can be identified by the words "Thank You" which are found <b>...</b>

Sesame street- MANAMANA - Original 1969 version.flv

Takem From Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org Versions by the Muppets In 1969, the first season of Sesame Street featured a sketch featuring two Muppet girls who are unsure of what to do, until they decide to sing a song, enter an unusual-looking version of the latter Muppet character Mahna Mahna (whose named was later changed to Bip Bippadotta, so as to differentiate him from the Mahna Mahna character on The Muppet Show) who begins singing "Mahna Mahna", prompting the girls to join him.[3] In 1976, the first episode of The Muppet Show to be recorded (featuring Juliet Prowse), used "Mahna Mahna" as the first sketch. It was performed by Mahna Mahna and the Snowths, two creatures that resembled cows. As a result, the original Piero Umiliani recording finally became a hit in the UK (#8 in the UK charts in May 1977), where the Muppet Show soundtrack album featuring the Muppets' version went to number one.[4] A snippet of the song "Lullaby of Birdland" is 'hummed' during one of the improvisational passages. The later Muppet TV series Muppets Tonight (19961998) revisited it in a sketch with Sandra Bullock where Kermit the Frog visits a doctor to complain about weird things that happen to him whenever he says the word phenomenon.
The Beatles - Yesterday [HD]

Facebook: www.facebook.com Paul Performing Yesterday 1965 "Yesterday" is a song originally recorded by The Beatles for their 1965 album Help!. According to Guinness World Records, "Yesterday" has the most cover versions of any song ever written. The song remains popular today with more than 3000 recorded cover versions, the first hitting the United Kingdom top 10 three months after the release of Help!. Broadcast Music Incorporated (BMI) asserts that it was performed over seven million times in the 20th century alone. The song was not released as a single in the UK at the time of the US release, and thus never gained number 1 single status in that country. However, "Yesterday" was voted the best song of the 20th century in a 1999 BBC Radio 2 poll of music experts and listeners. In 2000, "Yesterday" was voted the #1 Pop song of all time by MTV and Rolling Stone Magazine. In 1997, the song was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. "Yesterday" takes the form of a melancholic acoustic guitar ballad about a breakup. It was the first official recording by The Beatles that relied upon a performance by a single member of the band, namely, Paul McCartney. He was accompanied solely by a string quartet. The final recording differed so greatly from other works by The Beatles that the other three members of the band vetoed the release of the song as a single in the United Kingdom (however, in 1976 it was eventually issued as a single there). Louis Armstrong - What A Wonderful World (Spoken Intro Version) 1970

"What a Wonderful World" [1970 Spoken Introduction Version] along with Oliver Nelson's Orchestra is a song written by Bob Thiele (as George Douglas) and George David Weiss. It was first recorded by Louis Armstrong and released as a single in 1968. Thiele and Weiss were both prominent in the music world (Thiele as a producer and Weiss as a composer/performer). Armstrong's recording was inducted in the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999. Intended as an antidote for the increasingly racially and politically charged climate of everyday life in the United States, the song also has a hopeful, optimistic tone with regard to the future, with reference to babies being born into the world and having much to look forward to. The song was initially offered to Tony Bennett, who turned it down. Thereafter, it was offered to Louis Armstrong. "Some of you young folks been saying to me," Hey Pops, what you mean 'What a wonderful world'? How about all them wars all over the place? You call them wonderful? And how about hunger and pollution? That ain't so wonderful either." Well how about listening to old Pops for a minute. Seems to me, it aint the world that's so bad but what we're doin' to it. And all I'm saying is, see, what a wonderful world it would be if only we'd give it a chance. Love baby, love. That's the secret, yeah. If lots more of us loved each other, we'd solve lots more problems. And then this world would be better. That's wha' ol' Pops keeps saying." I see trees of green, red <b>...</b>

OK Go set up over 1000 instruments over two miles of desert outside Los Angeles. A Chevy Sonic was outfitted with retractable pneumatic arms designed to play the instruments, and the band recorded this version of Needing/Getting, singing as they played the instrument array with the car. The video took 4 months of preparation and 4 days of shooting and recording. There are no ringers or stand-ins; Damian took stunt driving lessons. Each piano had the lowest octaves tuned to the same note so that they'd play the right note no matter where they were struck. We Are The World 25 For Haiti - Official Video

Recorded on February 1st, 2010, in the same studio as the original 25 years earlier (Henson Recording Studios, formerly A&M Recording Studios) "We Are The World 25 For Haiti", in which Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie serve as executive producers and producers, was created in collaboration with executive producers Wyclef Jean, Randy Phillips and Peter Tortorici; producers Humberto Gattica and RedOne; and co-producers Rickey Minor, Mervyn Warren and Patti Austin to benefit the Haitian earthquake relief efforts and the rebuilding of Haiti. Academy Award-winning writer-director Paul Haggis (Crash, Million Dollar Baby), whose own personal efforts as well as those of Artists for Peace and Justice have already saved countless lives in Haiti, filmed the private recording session to create the accompanying video and behind-the-scenes production, and serves as Film Director and as an Executive Producer with Jones, Richie, Jean, Phillips and Tortorici. The 25th Anniversary recording features over 80 artists and performers. The recording of We Are The World 25 For Haiti embodied the same enthusiasm, sense of purpose and generosity as the original recording 25 years ago. Every one of the artists who participated, regardless of genre or generation, walked into the room with their hearts and souls completely open to coming together to help the people of Haiti.

Todd Rundgren - Hello It's Me

Full length HQ version Something Anything 1972 Todd Rundgren (born June 22, 1948) is an American musician, singer-songwriter and record producer. Hailed in the early stage of his career as a new pop-wunderkind, supported by the certified gold solo double LP Something/Anything? in 1972. Beginning his career in Woody's Truck Stop, Rundgren left the band to form the garage rock group Nazz in 1967. The group gained minor recognition with the Rundgren-penned songs "Open My Eyes" and "Hello It's Me". (He later recorded a solo, uptempo version of "Hello It's Me"; it became one of his signature songs). Nazz released three albums during this time - Nazz (1968), Nazz Nazz (1969), and Nazz III (1970). Rundgren's distinctive style was influenced by a wide variety of music - British pop-rock (notably The Beatles, The Who, The Yardbirds, Cream and The Move), the intricate vocal harmonies of the The Beach Boys and classic American rock'n'roll. Particularly during the early years of his career, Rundgren's songwriting was heavily influenced by the music of singer-songwriter Laura Nyro. Rundgren's debut solo album Runt (1970) includes the strongly Nyro-influenced "Baby Let's Swing", which was written about her and mentions her by name. Nazz manager Michael Friedman, who had joined Albert Grossman management, brought Rundgren to the firm where he became both a solo artist and producer for many artists in the Grossman stable. After leaving Nazz in 1969, Rundgren alternated production work <b>...</b>

A-ha - Take On Me (Extended Version)

"Take on Me" is a song by the Norwegian pop band A-ha. Written by the band members, the song was produced by Alan Tarney for the group's first studio album Hunting High and Low, released in 1985. The song combines synthpop with a varied instrumentation, which includes acoustic guitars, keyboards, drums and synthesizers. The original "Take on Me" was recorded in 1984, and took three releases to chart in the United Kingdom, reaching number two on the UK Singles Chart in November 1985. In the United States the song reached the top position of the Billboard Hot 100 in October 1985, due in no small part to the wide exposure of its memorable and cutting-edge music video on MTV, directed by Steve Barron. The video features the band in a pencil-sketch animation called rotoscoping combined with live-action. The video won six awards, and was nominated for two others at the 1986 MTV Video Music Awards (Not A Remix) Comment, rate, subscribe!
Seasons In The Sun - Terry Jacks 1974

Seasons in the Sun" was a worldwide hit song for Terry Jacks in 1974. It was first released in the United States and Canada early in the year, and rose to number one in America by March 2. An earlier recording appeared on The Kingston Trio's 1963 album, Time to Think. The song had also been done by English band The Fortunes in 1968, and by Pearls Before Swine in 1970/71. The song was based on "Le Moribond" ("The Dying Man"), written by Jacques Brel in 1961. Brel's song was translated into English by poet Rod McKuen and this version was first recorded by Bob Shane of the Kingston Trio, but it did not sell. The Beach Boys also recorded the song but it was never released. Terry Jacks, who had participated in the Beach Boys recording, and who had in fact introduced the song to the group, rewrote part of the lyrics to "lighten them up." Jacks' revisions tended to add a bit of ambiguity as to the nature of the storyteller's demise, allowing listeners the option to choose whether the death is from suicide over a failed life - quite possibly to escape drug addiction - or someone accepting death from natural causes, or cancer. References to a cheating wife were also removed.

ABBA : Honey Honey

Very catchy single first released in April, 1974 on their Waterloo album. It was the 2nd single to be released from the album after the success of the title track winning the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest. As well as the English version, ABBA also recorded "Honey, Honey" in Swedish on January 30, 1974 at Metronome Studio, Stockholm. This the last official recording by the group in their own language and was released as the B-side of the Swedish "Waterloo" single. In its English format, "Honey, Honey" was released with "King Kong Song" as the B-side. "Honey, Honey" was released in several European countries, the United States, Australia and New Zealand, but not in the UK. ABBA's British record label, Epic Records, decided to release a remixed version of "Ring Ring", but this single only reached No.32, so instead, a cover version of "Honey, Honey" was recorded by the act Sweet Dreams, promptly hitting the UK Top 10. "Honey, Honey" spent four months in the top five in West Germany, and also reached the top five in Austria and Switzerland. In the United States, "Honey, Honey" was moderately successful compared to the group's later singles. It reached No.27 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Adult Contemporary charts; the first ABBA single to reach the AC chart. -Wikipedia LYRICS Honey honey, how you thrill me, ah-hah, honey honey Honey honey, nearly kill me, ah-hah, honey honey I'd heard about you before I wanted to know some more And now I know what they mean, you're a love <b>...</b>

10k Project - World record in Trackmania Nations Forever

Can we get 1 like per car? _________________________________________________ Molki's dream, 10000 replays on one map. After 2 years of hard work, lots of tests and crashes, it's finally finished. Proteus, the creator of the famous World Record with Trackmania Nations: 1500 replays was supposed to make this video, but his harddrive crashed and lost his work. So the work went to me and Spasher Productions to make our own version of the final video. Watch proteus' video here: www.youtube.com Vimeo version: vimeo.com This is an absolute world record! Thanks to all the drivers who submitted their replays making this possible. Thanks to Molki for his work with the massive shooting taking over 100 hours. Edit, intro and outro by SiH Music: Immediate Music - Crusade The Servant - Cells (Instrumental) _________________________________________________ FAQ: So what is this video? This is 10000 cars that are driven at the same map and are merged together for a car mess. 44 people drove this map some times a day and no robotics involved. Why are the cars transparent? Its because its impossible to make this while rendering all replays together. What the director did, was to render 500 replays a time and then merge the clips in the end. This makes a transparent effect. Better have this effect, than no video :) Why is it a world record? This is the video with most cars on screen recorded in trackmania history. Who am i? I made the intro and credits and edited the clips. Molki is the <b>...</b>

Adrian Maben's Pink Floyd Live At Pompeii - Complete Concert 1971/1972

Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii is a 1972 film featuring Pink Floyd performing six songs in the ancient Roman amphitheatre in Pompeii, Italy. It was directed by Adrian Maben and recorded in the month of October with 24 studio-quality tracks without a live audience. The performances of "Echoes," "A Saucerful of Secrets," and "One of These Days" were filmed from October 4, 1971 to October 7, 1971. The remaining songs were filmed in a Paris studio, along with additional front projection footage for insertion into the Pompeii performances. The sequences in Paris were filmed in late 1971/early 1972, and can be distinguished by the absence of Richard Wright's beard. This version was released in cinemas in September 1972 and is also included on the DVD edition as an extra feature. In August 1974, another version was released combining the original film with supposed recording sessions of The Dark Side of the Moon at Abbey Road Studios. These sessions were actually staged for the film, as the recording of the album had been completed when these sessions were filmed in January 1973 and the band was mixing the album at the time. On this video: 1: Echoes (Part 1); 2: Careful With That Axe, Eugene; 3: A Saucerful Of Secrets; 4: One Of These Days; 5: Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun; 6: Mademoiselle Nobs, and 7: Echoes (Part 2).
