The Islamization of Europe (3 of 3)

Europe has joined the long war against radical Islamic terrorists, but for them the battles are also at home in London, Madrid, and in an ever-growing number of communities. Muslim immigrants have flooded into European ghettos, challenging the continent's tolerant culture. British journalist Rod Liddle presents a riveting account of the account of the clash between a naively elitist Europe and a rapidly expanding minority of Islamic fundamentalist. Islamist Take-away or Take-over

UK Islamism is getting itself politically organised. So much for Islam being the personal faith of Muslims. This video shows the tip of the iceberg of Islamists' efforts to support political candidates on one single issue - not whether they are Conservative or Labour, not whether they are pro-this or anti-that - but simply whether or not they are Muslims or, at least, Muslim-sympathisers. The Islamisation of the west will mean that eastern culture and freedoms will be replaced with a mono-culture derived from ludicrously violent and schizophrenic sacred texts which reflect the level of ignorance and cosmological racism of 7th Century bullies, rather than reflecting the fruits derived from the western Enlightenment and the centuries' long struggles against theocracy and intolerance. Europe without Christianity - The end of faith in Europe

While Christianity is still very relevant in the United States, and is exploding in the developing world, Europe today has sunk below unbelief, and is now labeled "Christophobic" and "anti-religious."

FOX News: The Islamification of Europe

Decline and Fall: Europe's Slow Motion Suicide, by Bruce S. Thornton It used to be said that when it came to worldviews, Americans were from Mars and Europeans were from Venus. But a new school of thought posits a different role for our continental counterparts. Europe, in this schema, is more like a dying star: a once-brilliant civilization whose best days lie behind it, that has lost the internal strength to endure, and that is headed toward oblivion. Bruce Thornton, a classics professor at California State University, is the latest to take up this thesis. In Decline and Fall, he makes the case that a number of factors—including unsustainable welfare states, dwindling birthrates, undiscriminating immigration laws, a society disconnected from the transcendent truths of Christianity, and a failure to confront the gathering threat of Islamic jihadism aggressively—are leading Europe to commit "slow-motion suicide." Government largesse may seem an unlikely source of civilizational decline, but Thornton shows that it is indeed cause for concern. A massive influx of immigrants from the Middle East, unassimilated into European society, contributes little to economic growth. Meanwhile, tax receipts, required to sustain social-welfare benefits, may dry up as Europe ages. As The Economist recently reported, the projected median age in Europe in 2050 will be 53, meaning that a large population of young workers will be necessary to support the older generation's exit from the ...

Europe: Muslim Immigration and the Rise of 'Eurabia'

FOX News September 05 2009 IN APRIL 1968 Enoch Powell, a Tory cabinet minister, destroyed his political career when he denounced mass immigration as a disaster (like the Roman, he said, I seem to see the river Tiber foaming with much blood). Today Powells arguments are becoming mainstream. Christopher Caldwell is an American journalist who writes for the liberal Financial Times as well as the conservative Weekly Standard. He has spent the past decade studying European immigration, travelling widely and reading voraciously in an impressive variety of languages. His controversial new book repeatedly echoes Powells warnings all those years ago. Mr Caldwell argues that Western Europe became a multi-ethnic society in a fit of absence of mind. European policymakers imported people to fill short-term job shortages. But immigrants continued to multiply even as the jobs disappeared: the number of foreign residents in Germany increased from 3m in 1971 to 7.5m in 2000 though the number of foreigners in the workforce did not budge. Today immigrants account for about 10% of the population of most west European countries, and up to 30% in some of Europes great cities. Policymakers were even more mistaken about culture than they were about numbers. They assumed that immigrants would quickly adopt the mores of their host societies. But a surprising number of immigrants have proved unmeltable. Mr Caldwell argues that the reason why so many immigrants failed to assimilate can be summed up ...

Radical Islam: Britain under Attack (1 of 5)

Melanie Phillips, a British journalist, commentator and author, whose columns appear in the UK in the Daily Mail and who writes a blog at www.melaniephillips.com. She is the author of the new book Londonistan. ooo OOO ooo FP: So what inspired you to write Londonistan? Phillips: I was just appalled by the fact that, not only had Britain become the key European hub of Islamist extremism and terrorism during the 1990s under the noses of the British authorities, but even after both 9/11 and last year's suicide bombings in London the British political and security establishment is still appeasing Islamist extremism, and remains in a state of denial about the threat to the west. After the London bombings, when home-grown British Muslim boys set out to murder as many of their fellow British citizens as possible, a senior London police officer went on TV and said that the words Islam and terrorism did not go together. If a threat is so badly misunderstood in this way, it will not be defeated. FP: Can you talk a little bit about the collapse of traditional British identity and of the destructiveness of multiculturalism? Phillips: This is absolutely a key issue. Multiculturalism has turned Britain's values inside out -- and the root cause of the problem is the deconstruction of Britain's identity. For decades, the British elite has been consumed by loathing of its national identity and values which it decided were racist, authoritarian and generally disagreeable. Much of that was ...

London's Islamic Radicals Speak Out (CBN News)

Decide NOW, before it is to late!Stop Islamization Of The World!www.siotw.org Great Britain recently raised its terror alert to "severe" following reports that al Qaeda was plotting new attacks. But Britain may be facing an even greater threat from within -- one the British government helped to create. CBN News recently traveled to London to interview a number of leading Islamic radicals who have settled there with the full knowledge of the British government. Just one year before attempting to blow up an airliner over Detroit, Christmas Day bombing suspect Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab studied engineering at University College London. During his stay there, he networked with known Islamic radicals. Security sources believe he may have linked up with al Qaeda. Abdulmutallab is just one of many Islamic terrorists with ties to London. Some live there with help from the state. One example is Yasser al-Sirri, who faces a death sentence in Egypt. Then there is Anjem Choudary. To date, he has not been charged with terrorism, but his pro-jihad views have led some to call him Great Britain's most hated man. "Many people love the idea of jihad, you know?" Choudary told CBN News. "And they want to engage in it." A radical Islamist can find a little bit of everything in London. Ex-jihadists, current jihadists, "wannabe" jihadists: they're all there. So how did this happen? During the 1980s and 1990s, British authorities granted asylum to a number of Islamic terrorists wanted in their ...
