To claim that, "Allah cannot forgive me," is a bigger sin than any other sin that you have done. "I am too sinful, there is no point in repenting, Allah cannot forgive me, I am too sinful." This very claim of yours is a bigger sin than anything else you might have done as a Muslim. O Muslim, no matter how sinful you are...do you think that you alone single handedly have commited so many sins that you can emcompass Allah's mercy, that Allah's mercy cannot forgive you, that you can challenge the Rahmaan and the Raheem? In thename of Allah, The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful, May the peace of Allah and His mercy and blessings be upon you. This Surah was revealed in Medina. This is first video, out of 6 of Surat At-Tawbah, with the excellent recitation of Sheikh Hani Ar-Rafe'i. Special Note: Surat At-Tawbah is the only Surah in the Qur'an which does NOT begin with "Bism-Allah Al-Rahman Ar-Raheem." Tafsir Ibn Kathir says: -------------------- Why there is no Basmalah in the Beginning of This Surah This honorable Surah (chapter 9) was one of the last Surahs to be revealed to the Messenger of Allah . Al-Bukhari recorded that Al-Bara' said, "The last Ayah to be revealed was, [يَسْتَفْتُونَكَ قُلِ اللَّهُ يُفْتِيكُمْ فِى الْكَلَـلَةِ] (They ask you for a legal verdict. Say: "Allah directs (thus) about Al-Kalalah.'') [4:176], while the last Surah to be revealed was Bara'ah.''
