It seems my viewers have an interest in 2 things in particular, brakes and check engine lights so here are some brakes for you. To tell the truth I don't do too many drum brake jobs these days so I'm a little rusty but the principals here are sound and should get you through a basic drum brake job. A couple of things to note here, I replaced the drums on this particular job but if you have enough "meat" left on the drums you can have them machined for a lot less than replacing them. Removing and Replacing rear brake drums on 1972 K-20 Chevy Pickup part 1 We already took the drum off but I explained briefly some of the steps. In order for the "drum housing" to come off you have to remove all those little "Spaner Nuts" and the spider like clamping ring with the second spanner nut. If you do not do this step, you will not get the Drum housing off. This of course is after we took off the tire Any questions please ask and I'll do my best to answer.
