This video of the legendary gig Queen did at live aid 1985 has been uploaded many times, but the quality was poor most of the times I've seen it, and often split into 3 videos. So here is the dvd source, 1 single 21 minute video, upscaled to 720p, and slightly cropped and stretched to fit the 16:9 standard, adding some sharpness and noise reduction. It's not bluray quality at all, but I believe it's the best available from this historic event. Tho I am more jazz-funk orientated, I do agree this is the best live gig in rock history, ever. I go through quick techniques at retouching a fashion photograph. I guess the aim here is to keep some skin texture, so it doesnt look retouched. some things are very subtle like evening out the tonality on the skin, or adding curves painting in highlights etc. Interesting use of stamp tool set to lighten, as well as using low opacity dodge and burn tools. based on 'Photo Retouching in Adobe Photoshop With Meghan Farrell'

This is the third video in my tutorial series. I'll be starting off with very very basic stuff that looks cool, and as I progress in the series I'll use some of these basic techniques to make more complicated stuff. I don't like live commentating stuff because I tend to get side tracked and make mistakes. So all the steps I did in the videos will be put in the description box. And I am truely sorry about the language settings that gimp has, I don't know how to set it to English, so in this video its still Dutch. in this video we are going to see have a look at the "mend" tool. Its basically used in retouching to remove sunspots, black borders under eyes... stuff like that. fun fact: 99.9% of all pictures in magazines are retouched somehow. FOLLOW THESE STEPS: 1) Select the "mend" tool and choose an appropriate brush size. Brush should be solid. 2) Hold the control key and click in an area that you want to "sample" this means that you will be using that color to camoflage stuff. 3) click on an area where you want to mend. Its highly recommended sampling close to where you are mending to keep maximum coorespondance between colors. 4) make sure you practise, its not very difficult to do. but it does require a certain amount of practise to fully understand how this tool works. 5) For brightening the eyes, you have to select the lasso tool and make a selection of the white of the eyes. 6) then go to Colors - Hue/Saturation. Increase the brightness (and optionally lower the <b>...</b>

A classical hamd shareef read by a legendary Naat khwaan, Qari Zubaid Rasool. Qari Zubaid has a tremendous voice, and his vocals, tunes, sur and balance are perfect. THis Hamd was recorded around 1988. Qari Zubaid performed in many mehfils which involved Sheikh Ul Islam Tahir Ul Qadri. Although Qari Zubaid recording are very minimal and few, the reason for this is that he passed away just as he was gaining popularity and stardom. It was a shocking unexpected death which shook the world of Naat Khwani. Qari Zubaid will be forever remembered as one of the greatest. His voice was magical, and made millions cry. After completing the first head transformation animation (www.paradigmshiftmanga.com back in 2002, I wanted to create a cleaner, more finished version since the original was more of a rough. Also, I came across some better morphing software which would run directly in After Effects, which I tested on the teeth schematics (www.paradigmshiftmanga.com Copying 18 frames directly out of the original animation, I lightly printed out three template pages and drew over the original to create this image sequence: www.paradigmshiftmanga.com Unfortunately, while I finished the drawings, which ended up serving as my "master" character design for the transformation, I didn't complete the animation at the time. Partly because the rendering times to output the morphs were just too long, but also because I wasn't entirely satisfied with the final sequence, either. I was worried I would need to redraw or composite some new keyframes together in Photoshop, and it was just taking too long. However, upon launching "Werewolf Wednesdays" earlier this month, I returned to After Effects to prep some of video files, and revisited this work in progress. Thanks to two-generations of improved processing power, my newer workstation made short work of rendering the morphs, and I was finally able to complete the animation. However, while the transformation itself looks nice and clean, the final beast design is a little out of date. So, as a bonus I updated the final two keyframes with a couple of new <b>...</b>
