Check Engine Light Diag EVAP Codes

This is a video of a 2006 GMC Sierra that had a check engine light & some evaporative emissions codes. I show how to diagnose the problem with a scan tool and the upgraded parts required to repair it. The codes in the PCM were P0449 & P0455. I repaired it with a procedure in GM TSB 02-06-04-0374 that was to repair a restricted EVAP vent path &/or code(s) P0446 / P0442. This problem could also result in a fuel tank that is hard to fill.

Installing Decals To Make Your Car Look Faster

A friend of mine brought his mom's Mustang over the other day with some decals that needed to be installed. The were the factory "Mustang" stickers that go on the bottom of the doors. I would have preferred to make this a nitrous oxide install video, but these stickers will have to do. Last, but not least, yes - I know it's February. Car Battery in a Power Wheels Monster Truck

The kids had an old F150 monster truck Power Wheels toy that had a dead battery. I charged the old 6 volt battery for about half of a day. After charging, it wouldn't light up a test light, much less turn a motor in a big toy truck. I took an old car battery and installed the power wheels battery connector to the terminals of the car battery. I used a couple of ratchet straps to hold it down. The 12 volt car battery turns the 6 volt motor twice as fast. My youngest daughter loves it. She goes pretty much full throttle on it all the time. My oldest daughter likes it, but is very cautious. She pumps the pedal causing a surging that is almost sickening to watch. Thanks for watching! Please subscribe.

Death of a Ford Super Duty

I really don't HATE Fords. I do prefer GM products, but I don't like them (GM) building their vehicles in Mexico while people here need work. I saw a Ford Super Duty in traffic the other day that looked like it was dying. I recorded it through my driver's side mirror as it was blowing smoke or steam. I put my window up so I wouldn't have to smell it. So you tell me, was it DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) regeneration, bad injector, burning coolant from EGR cooler or head gasket, a failing turbo, or someone trying to blow out some Seafoam in afternoon traffic near the local hospital? Either way, I'm glad my vehicle doesn't do it. Thanks for watching. Please rate, comment, & subscribe. PS I'm not a tree hugger, I just thought it was funny.

Thanks for watching! Please rate, comment, & Subscribe! This is Joe's 1990 (I think) Toyota with front air suspension. It was before I "C" notched the back end and bagged the rear. He is hitting the switches and wishing he could 3 wheel. See my other video "Toyota C notched with airbags" for a look at the work on the rear of the frame and the bag installation.
