How to Make a Transforming Ninja Star (8-Pointed)
I explain in this tutorial how to create the Transforming, aka 8-pointed Paper Ninja Star or Shuriken. It is a type of Modular Origami Model in which we will interlock or join 8 smaller Modular Units (pieces) to get a larger one. All that is required is 8 small square sheets of paper. I am using 9cm x 9cm dimension paper I found in staples, but any Post-It notes should work fine. Smaller origami paper should work well also. If you want to use printer paper, that is fine (but you will wind up wasting a bit). Just make the printer paper into a square, like I do in my other origami tutorials. Then split that square into 4 pieces (fold in half both ways and cut/tear). Either that or you can use each sheet of converted printer paper as a modular unit and make a LARGE transforming ninja star! How to Make an Origami Dollar Ring (Moneygami)
Explains how to make an Origami ring from a dollar bill. I do recommend that you use a simple $1 bill because I think it fits the nicest. However, any other American bills will work, yet larger bill numbers for $10, $20, $50, or $100 usually get cut off from the top portion of the ring. I am aware that I have viewers from other countries who may not have American bills handy, so I quickly explain a way you can make this using regular printer paper. I give the dimensions: Length: 15.5 cm Width: 6 cm Also, HERE are the measurements for where you should make the folds on a piece of PAPER. ALL measurements are from the very LEFT side of the paper and indicate where to fold as instructed in the video. NOTE THAT THESE MEASUREMENTS MAY NOT FIT YOU OR WORK PERFECTLY** Please experiment with your paper, this is only to get a general idea. How to Make an Origami Boomerang

No tape or anything else is required. I also explain at the end the way we must position the boomerang in order to throw it properly. If it falls to the ground check to see if: 1) It's upside down, refer to 12:40 for the proper way to position it before throwing--it does matter. 2) You may be angling it too far down, which can cause it to not come back all the way--try angling it upwards at an angle. 3) It's made the correct way and looks just like mine. It takes a bit of practice, and make sure to spin it really fast. Check my "Super Boomerang" Video (Link above) for another demonstration of how it's thrown. This will keep you busy for hours and is fun for all ages. Once you show off your boomerang to friends, they are definitely going to want one! I would have liked to have this model out a bit earlier, but either way, the Origami Tree is fun to make any time :-) It is a type of modular origami model, which is made up from smaller pieces which fit into each other. I will show you how to make the Origami Tree from 3 sheets of Printer paper (8.5" x 11"). We need to make 5 different sized squares from which we will make the top pieces and base from. You can use different sized origami sheets if you have them, only 4 different sizes from large to small are required. How to Make a 16-Pointed Ninja Star (Shuriken)
The newest addition to the Ninja Star (Shuriken) family, the 16 pointed ninja star-- a Classic Origami Model also called the "Spiky Star". Like the Transforming Ninja Star (www.youtube.com the 16-Pointed Ninja Star is a type of modular origami model. This means that it is made up of smaller modular units which are all identical. Once you make 16 of them, you can then interlock or fit the pieces into one another in order to get the Ninja Star. For this tutorial, I am using Letter Sized Paper (8.5" x 11"), but you can use ANY SIZE square sheet that you'd like. Smaller paper may be a little bit more practical and you can create 4 smaller square sheets from one of the larger 8.5" squares from a sheet of printer paper. You can also throw it a few different ways, backhanded, overhanded, or even like a disc (like in Tron :-D). I show a few throws towards the end (CLICK HERE 8:08). Making a Giant Paper Crane!
My friend Rich and I taped together 48 printer sheets of dimension 8.5" x 11" into a 66x68 large sheet (No.. it's not a perfect square :-P) in order to make a giant crane. Had a lot of fun doing it :-) It took us roughly 40 minutes to do, the taping part was the most time consuming, folding not so much. So pretty much what the title says.. There's this squirrel that comes to our back door to get us to throw peanuts out to her. She's got us pretty well trained actually. We have already bought a whole bag of them for her. We also think she may be pregnant since her belly is a bit big and she seems to have swollen nipples. The algorithm we must know is. Ri F Ri B180 R Fi Ri B180 R180 Official/Standard Notation: Ri F Ri B2 R Fi Ri B2 R2 **NOTE** A 180 degree turn is the same no matter what direction you turn the cube (clockwise or counter-clockwise). **NOTE** There is about a 1/6 chance that this step will solve your cube entirely!! That occurs if all of your top edges are already positioned correctly. Consider yourself lucky :-) But move on to learn Step 7 anyway. Looking at the cube's top layer, we must find two adjacent CORNER pieces which have the same color.
