Our Rotti (AKC Registered) was diagnosed with severe Hip Dysplasia at 9 1/2 months old. His Femoral Head had completely popped out of socket and he was in severe pain. We wanted to do a full hip replacement however, he was too young so the Vet recommended an Femoral Head Ostectomy Surgery (FHO). I searched the Web for successful stories before/after of Rotti's that underwent this type of surgery. This video demonstrates the playful life a Rotti can have after surgery.
