Short video of a Rubidium frequency standard running on my workbench. During the video, I have to deal with my cat walking around my bench. I compare the standard to my Fluke 6060A signal generator and find that their difference is about 30 ppb, which is probably mostly the Fluke since it has an ovenized crystal oscillator as a reference.

In this video I document my project to build a Datum/Efratom LPRO 10MHz rubidium oscillator into a die-cast aluminium box, together with power switch, all sockets and an LED '10 MHz locked' indicator. This project takes a couple of hours and gives you a finished test instrument/signal source that is self contained and operated with just one switch.
