Esther Duflo - CGD sixth annual Richard H. Sabot Lecture
Esther Duflo is a leading development economist known for her work applying impact evaluation, randomized controlled trials and other field experiments to identify which development interventions actually work. Duflo is the Abdul Latif Jameel Professor of Poverty Alleviation and Development Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and co-founder of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL). Her lecture drew upon a new book by Duflo and Abhijit Banerjee, a J-PAL co-founder, titled Poor Economics: A Radical Rethinking of the Way to Fight Global Poverty. Duflo and Banerjee's research has led them to identify wholly new aspects of the behavior of poor people, their needs, and the way that aid or financial investment can affect their lives. Development scholar-practitioner Duflo was the featured speaker of CGD's sixth annual Richard H. Sabot Lecture honoring the life and work of Richard "Dick" Sabot, a friend, co-author, and founding member of CGD's board of directors. CGD president Nancy Birdsall hosted and served as moderator for the discussion following the talk.

Skit Sundays - Sabotaging Excl in Minecraft - Final Runescape Video (Minecraft Machinima)
This concludes my last week of Runescape videos. What best way to conclude it then by redoing an old classic into Minecraft. Some stuff had to be cut out from the original and due to some unforseen events, some parts just didn't have time to implement. Link to original vid: www.youtube.com Basicly I'm moving on to Minecraft and Minecraft machinimas. I find them more enjoyable to do and people like them more. Hope you can understand. For thoses that only wanted runescape comedy skits, just look at this video. It proves that I can transfer the same concept of runescape into minecraft. Of course there are some things I have to learn in minecraft when it comes to machinimas, but for the most part, I got most of it down. So if you are only subbed to me for Runescape only videos, I hoped this last week of Runescape videos entertained you. At this time, its alright to unsub me if you only wanted runescape videos. I tend to bring the hardworking video making from when the Runescape community had. Now after most Runescape video makers got partnered, the quality of video has EXTREMELY dropped. People in the RS community are only in it for money now and most daily videos are posted with minimum effort. Compare this video that took almost 8 hours of filming and editing to any of those vids that are only 15 min long with just commentary. You can see the frustration I'm having with that community. At least with Minecraft, I can stand out and be appreciated for the machinima's I put out <b>...</b>
