This is a replication attempt of an experiment I suggested here: www.youtube.com Please conduct the experiment on the link above according to the procedure described in this video to reduce possible biases and let me know your results. After 50 comments are posted, I will conduct a statistical analysis to determine if the updated procedure provided here removes the possible bias suggested by the first experiment.

Scene from the superb 1988 film Rain Man where the Tom Cruise character Charlie Babbitt takes Raymond to see a doctor after becoming frustrated with his behaviour. This film is top class with truly excellent performances being turned in by both Cruise and Hoffman.

From House episode 3x15, "Half-Wit". House wrote this composition in high school, but didn't know how to finish it. It was finished on the spot by the savant David when House presented it to him in his hospital room. Download the sheet music: www.mediafire.com To me, this piece (the completed version by David) represents the character of House perfectly. Beautiful and brilliant, but highly conflicted, and in the end, just wants to be happy like everyone else. Since the version played in David's room is actually a duet (and David has some interesting improvisations), I had to make a guess on what House originally composed. In the end, it seemed likely that the original composition simply repeated the previous two measures, and then David's addition would come in afterward.

Colby explains a bit about a sound card experiment he conducted on his breadboard, and talks a bit about his hero Albert Einstein. Colby has self-taught himself massive amounts of electronic knowledge over the last few years. He is now at a point with his language skills to finally express some of this knowledge. He is 10 years old with moderate autism.

"Songbird singing" is a story of my very dear friend who suffers from Autism. Words by Roger Valentine, Voice Over Rajesh Vedprakash www.facebook.com . *Courtesy: Google. *Autism is a brain development disorder characterized by impaired social interaction and communication, and by restricted and repetitive behavior. These signs all begin before a child is three years old. The autism spectrum disorders (ASD) also include related conditions such as Asperger syndrome that have milder signs and symptoms. Cerebral palsy (CP) is an umbrella term encompassing a group of non-progressive, non-contagious conditions that cause physical disability in human development. In placental mammals, the umbilical cord (also called the birth cord or funiculus umbilicalis) is the connecting cord from the developing embryo or fetus to the placenta Early cord blood withdrawal at the time of birth actually increases the likelihood of childhood disease, due to the high volume of blood taken (an average of 108ml) in relation to the baby's total supply (typically 300ml). The placenta blood is valuable, particularly interferon extracted from the blood components. The blood's raw materials may fetch $30000 an ounces for stem cells or interferon. This is the infant's blood type, even matched by race/color is desired. It is a legal duty to protect the baby of an offenses against the person which no adult can agree to violate that protection to the child, not even the parent. *The American Academy of ...

This is a short video on an amazing human being, Daniel Tammet from Bristol, England, who apparently has Savant Syndrome and can make insane calculations in his mind (even surpassing several calculators). Credits to wisconsinmedicalsociety.org and Daniel Tammet for this video.
