The first story DLC for Final Fantasy 13-2, this small sidestory provides a few answers for questions brang up from the main story, how does Sazh travel through time to help our heroes in Academia 500 AF? Who is Chocolina Really? These questions will be answered as we go through the Sazh DLC! Sazh Katzroy is thrown into serendipity by a mysterious portal that appears on a routine airship trip, seperated from his son Dajh, the casino owner explains his situation. Residing in a place between life and death, Sazh must test his luck in the parlour games to find out whether life is the side of the coin he will luck out with, with two new cards games available, one a variant of Texas Hold'em and the original game Chronobind, Sazh sets out to play, with a few side attractions on top. Five Star Rating***** *Note: If you have a hard time, try getting Haste for Sazh and use that at the start of the battle to make your party faster, which will really help. I didn't use Haste at all, so don't freak out if you're far away from getting Haste. Recommended Strategy: Start out with Tide Turner then buff your party with Sazh. Once you are comfortably buffed up, switch to War & Peace so Vanille can heal the damage you took while you buffed and just attack with Sazh while she heals your party. After both Sazh and Vanille are back in the green (on the health bar) switch to the Dualcasting Paradigm to drive up the stagger bar and the gestalt gauge. Switch back to War & Peace when your health drops to the yellow or red range, then switch to Dualcasting again once you are back in the green range. Repeat this one or two times and the Gestalt Gauge will be filled up by the time your doom counter is in the 300 to 600 area.

So back to the card tables, I'm back to playing Poker. That one mysterious guy, the Owner, won't let me know how many Fortune Medals I need, so I have to keep playing. At the Poker table, I beat out Jonathan and Eva quick, but this chick Amy won't go all in. I had to play against her for 30 minutes, before she finally caved. I got a grip of money and fortune medals afterwards, and finally am able to get the Owner to me get Dajh back. As mentioned in the video above, levelling Omega has guidelines for the best stats, the following levels do NOT provide extra strength with Power when compared to Potent: 51, 61, 66, 81-84, 86-89, 91 Level up with potent when levelling to these levels, so when at level 50 use potent to get to level 51 instead of power. With our goal to gamble but our minds wandering we set out to help Chocolina find the missing chocobo chicks, all requiring different approaches in order to coax them to join us. We also sit down for some more poker, with our aim to make a table go bust and gain all the fortune coins Sazh needs. After our long fought victory we head back over to Chocolina, finding the remaining chicks and the secret to who she actually is and how she knows Sazh. We finally step up to the owner at the end, having done all we can do in this small side adventure, will Sazh re-unite with Dajh? To kill these giants you need at least ~1100 strength and at least beat the game for stage 10 crystarium. Paradigms: SYN/ANYTHING/SEN-????????? RAV/RAV/SAB-Smart Bomb COM/COM/COM-Cerberus 1)Equip Shield Talisman to Sazh if he can't survive the initial attack. 2) Have your party as Sazh, Lightning, Fang with the setups as SYN/ANYTHING/SEN 3)As soon as the battle starts buff everyone with Haste and Bravery 4)Summon Brynhildr and cast Haste and Bravery on her as well. 5) Switch to your RAV/RAV/SAB and use Auto-Battle until about 200-300% Stagger. Then spam Cold Blood. 6) When Brynhildr leaves keep spamming and then keep using Cold Blood and let Fang put debuffs on it. (At least deprotect) 7) Keep Spamming until the stagger bar reaches 999.9% stagger 8) Switch to COM/COM/COM and spam Blitz until dead. Subscribe for more Final Fantasy tutorials in HD. Oerba Dia Vanille awaits justice brought by Sazh for keeping her secret and taking his son from him... although I think it was an accident. Sazh doesn't know what to do... This is probably the most emotional scene in the game. At least so far it is... Sazh' Eidolon Brynhildr appears before him. She is like this Centaurian Valkyrie with an ancient Norse name kind of... Yeah she transforms into a red race car - awesome! Anyways she is wearing heels thats why I think she's a girl.

At the beginning of the cutscene, Sazh's pistols and holsters are not rendered - only the straps that hold the holsters to his pantlegs. In the same clip, after the reminiscent flashback, his pistols and holsters are rendered. At the end, a little funny moment: Sazh indirectly contemplates his own death and the chocobo chick perches on his pistol and shakes its head in disapproval.
