The Infinity is folded along the diagonal while the DIY Infinity is folded in half, horizontally. The Infinity starts off as a triangle, whereas the DIY Infinity begins as a rectangle. It seems like a trivial difference, but due to the shape, the Infinity fold works best with square scarves whereas the DIY version can be pulled off on thicker longer scarves. Also, because of the different starting shapes, the way the scarves drape are also slightly different. I wanted to include both in case people had trouble with the Infinity fold on their scarves, but due to the speed of the video, the first step was a bit harder to convey For scarf tutorial videos on how to tie these styles, please select which box you would like to see at the end. Hello You Guys!!! Happy Monday ~ Today we'll be working on how to make your very own crochet round scarf. I purchased a 364 yds skein & for the 10 row scarf I used half which would be 182 yds. For the 20 row scarf I used the 364 yds. The crochet hook I used is a K101/2-6.50MM. One thing I forgot to mention in my video is that once your done with the 180 stitch chain you'll bring the two ends together & unite them turning them into one cirlcle. From here you'll begin the pattern, once you come all the way around with your patern, you'll have to bring the first row together. During this time before joining the first row you'll have to make sure that the first row is aligned perfectly all around before connecting the first row. You'll only have to do this one time after finishing your first row, the following row's will automatically be aligned. I hope you enjoy this tutorial & try these trendy scarf's out. How To Tie Your Scarf In 3 Ways [music] Latrira: Hello out there. I'm Latrira, and as you're getting ready for your night out on the town, I'm going to show you my three favorite ways to tie a scarf. Here to demonstrate, I have my lovely model, April. And for the first way, you're going to take your scarf and make one end shorter than the other. Drape around the neck, and then throw the longest end over the shoulder. And there you have your first way. The second way is a more casual look. Here, April has the scarf draped around her neck. For the second way, you take one end of the scarf and you make a loose knot. Taking the other end of the scarf, you pull it through the knot. And there you have your second way. The third way, you take your rectangular scarf and you fold it in half longways. After you did that, fold it again by keeping one hand one end and grabbing the other end. Last, drape it around your neck, bringing both ends to the front, and just tuck them underneath. And those are my three favorite ways to tie a scarf. [music]
