Still as a breath held as a sigh, Still as a heart that denies The final truth, the breaking news, On the edge of a moment Where we hope and we pray That there's still time There's always time, Time to look back, Time to regret Time to remember just how we met Time slips slowly by as I stare at forever And I wonder if we still have time? Still after all is said and done, Still you're the only one to touch my soul To fill my world, your magic still lingers as it did once upon a time Would you give me time, could you change your mind? Let me get on my knees, I'm begging you please All I want for you to do is forgive me, Give me one more chance, Let me prove to you that I can still be true Let me show you that the love we have isn't over, That we still have time Let me run to you through an open field and you'll see me coming I'll be scattering crows Everything keeps changing Nothing ever stays the same Let me run to you through an open field You'll see me coming I'll be scattering crows © Fish See www.the-company.com for more details. Check us out at www.tutorvista.com Rutheford made a theoretical analysis of angles of scattering in accordance with Thomson's theory of atom and in accordance with his own theory. He assumed that atom consisted of positive charged nucleus and negative charged electrons circling around the nucleus. Then his theoretic calculations he compared with the experiment result. Alpha particles going through atom created in accordance with the "plum cake" model wouldn't be strong abberated because the electric field in that atom wouldn't be strong. In the model created by Rutheford the field is much stronger near to the nucleus, so some of alpha particles are much more abberated. The other going in the far distance to the nucleus are almost not at all abberated. The probability that any alpha particle will hit the nucleus is small but there is such a chance. The experiment showed that there are some not much abberated alpha particles but also some abberated of a very big angle (135-150 degree). That occurrence couldn't be explained by some small, added aberrations. Experimental data proved the "planetary" model of atom.

Rutherford's Nuclear Atom Experiment In 1910, Rutherford and his coworkers were studying the angles at which alpha particles were scattered as they passed through a thin gold foil. Most particles passed through undeflected, though a few were found to be scattered at large, some even in the direction they had come. This meant they had collided with an object much more massive than the particle itself, but so small that only a few aplha particles encountered them. Showing that the atom was composed of a small dense massive center surrounded by low mass electrons. Video from: www.chemtopics.com

FACE THE FACT - Scattering The Marbles. From the album "In The Meantime...". 2011 Lyrics: Men in grey coats. Everywhere my eyes can see. They Wander Enjoying the authority. In the classroom, people are taken. She with the yellow star, will be next? March, take, gone. March, take, starve March, take, kill. March, take, burry. We won't forget, this disrespect. Another empty spot in the classroom. She was so pretty and harmless. Another empty spot in the classroom. She scattered her marbles yesterday. Pray! Men are taking them, like an everyday act. Fleeing, is no option. In the classroom, people are taken. She with the yellow star, will be next? March, take, gone. March, take, starve March, take, kill. March, take, burry. A demonstration of small-angle scattering of light by a hair. Laser pointers are used as they are essentially sources of radiation which are collimated. The oscillations that appear are the intensity of the Fourier transform of the sample shape, in this case an "infinite" cylinder. These observations are used to calculate the diameter of the hairs in part II of this video. Part II is available here: www.youtube.com

First test of a scatter system for Unity3D. The user can areas to be filled with either splines or meshes, holes are detected and selectively filled or not. The user can add any number of meshes to be included into the scatter and each mesh has params to define density, scale, rotations, collision etc. The system can be told to not overlap any meshes or set min distances between meshes. The meshes can be snapped to grids and angles say for scattering buildings. The resultant mesh produced is optimized to the minimum number of draw calls. The crash barrier in the scene is another system being tested for easily lofting multiple meshes along a spline for such things as barriers, fences, walls etc. You can try a demo that shows the end result at tinyurl.com Esc key for options, mouse and buttons to move. Will probably run a little slow due to going overboard with effects and mesh density.

unity3dx.com for more.Atmospheric Rayleigh scattering in 3D with Unity 3D The blue color of the sky is caused by the scattering of sunlight off the molecules of the atmosphere. This scattering, called Rayleigh scattering, is more effective at short wavelengths (the blue end of the visible spectrum). Therefore the light scattered down to the earth at a large angle with respect to the direction of the sun's light is predominantly in the blue end of the spectrum.

The new Poser 9 (along with Poser 2012) is set to release on Sept 20, 2011. There are some excellent pre-release sales going on. Check the SmithMicro site for details: poser.smithmicro.com
