Ryan Gosling's latest flick "Drive" spurred one man to take on a meaty mission. 31 year old Brandon Kelly launched a hot dog at Tiger Woods while the golfer was lining up a putt at the Frys.com Open on Sunday. Kelly said he was inspired by the movie to do something "courageous and epic." (Video source: NBC / ABC Australia) So, where does a hot dog make a cameo in a movie about a stunt car driver? Well, it doesn't. Washington Post writer Sarah Anne Hughes offers another reason for the hot dog heaving. The call to "cut the tongue of this lowly Jew and shut it forever" apparently came after Letterman—who, for the record, is not Jewish—cracked a joke on Late Show perceived as offensive to Islam. "He showed his evil nature and deep hatred for Islam and Muslims, and said that Ilyas Kashmiri was killed and he joined bin Laden," the poster, identified as Umar al-Basrawi, wrote on the site. "We ask Allah to paralyze his tongue and grant the sincere monotheists his neck." The jihadist recalls Letterman's celebrating the recent death of the terror kingpin by gleefully dragging a finger across his neck. The angry terrorist also posted a photo of the 64-year-old, describing him as 'a sick Jew with defined features'. Taped at the Ed Sullivan Theater on Broadway in Midtown, Letterman's show is on summer hiatus. A spokesman for its production company, Worldwide Pants, wouldn't comment on the threat.
