Quick drive in the Lotus to test out the dual camera setup, used miniature Muvi for the front, Kodak playsport for the internal and Apple iMovie to sync and edit together. The car is a 2008 Lotus Europa 'S' running a factory-updated 225bhp 2-litre GM unit through an M32 6-speed gearbox on 17" LTS Bridgestones front and rear. Fronts are skinny 175's but no understeer and plenty of feel through the steering, rears are 225's with lots of grip. Interior is same as later SE model but called 'Luxury Touring' for the original 'S' model. Standard Blaupunkt satnav upgraded to Nav54e with small map showing road - much better than stock version which was text only. Armourfend on the front clam and sills has kept road-rash to a minimum and still looks new. Interior drivers seat/sill will wear where I get in/out but kept to a minimum with a cotton duster protecting things. Low sills and slightly higher roofline - remember no top to remove on this vehicle - means that its actually possible to elegantly enter/exit this one. You've obviously got to be a big fan of orange with these cars as well...... The voice at 2.30 is because the road was full of stone chips - kryptonite to Lotus paintwork.....
